lol. I never thought that I could put these words together, but here we go: cute stereotype. For your information there are many shades to feminism. Not all of us are man haters and spinsters. I for one love men. I have been happily married to one of them for over 17 years now. We used to enjoy watching ' Sex and the city ' together, when it was on HBO. I also am happy to report that I have a pretty exciting sex life... So illusive orgasms you are referring to are my every day reality. Jealous yet? I don't know anything about prostitution, but am sure that you will be getting some graphic mail from real man haters for that one. I adore motherhood though: it is the most important achievement of my life, even though I do have 2 PhDs to my credit. I have never filed a sexual harassment suit in my life and have no need to scream about discrimination, because I love my life.

Now, as you can see feminists are human, which means different: some are severe in their views, and some are simply critical of yours. I can see how easy it would be for you to place us in a neat labeled box, but it would have nothing to do with the truth of the matter. Open your mind, and be a happier man for it...

I have trouble with the expression "true" feminist and "pure" feminist. True or pure according to who or what? Many women "claim" to be feminists, but they should thank God that they are in reality not. Sounds trendy and okay on the face of it, equality between the sexes, right? Wrong.

We can only judge modern feminism by its proponents, like Dworkin, Solanas, and their ilk. Not good.

ms.sophisticate - Lighten up! Yes, I accept that feminists are human. But there are no shades or flavours of feminism, no "true" feminism, no "pure" feminism. Feminism is feminism is feminism.

LOL! Funny, witty, and most importantly -- TRUE!

Thanks for this great list.

I liked #7 a lot. Has anyone ever seen an attractive feminist? Happy Snappy posted the photos of a lot of the man-haters on this forum, and NOT ONE was attractive.

If you honestly think that saying yes to any of these things is conducive to feminism, you are a true MCP. Congratufreakinlations.

I only answered yes to # 4 and #9.

And I only have no life because I take care of my kid every day and work every night. And because I spend too much time on YAnswers.

If that makes a true feminist, what makes a guy a true chauvinistic pig? I would love to see the list!

(and I meant all the above in good humor!)
