About time i talked about a womans issue which i perceive as very common and the most important nowadays.

The role of a mother and a wife combined with being a career woman can be a really tough task and i realized this after observing these ladies !!!!

What adjustments could be made from the male gender side to make atleast their life a little more amangable and for these women to have a beleif that there men are supportive????

I asked her to light a match when she was done. She can't even give me a 'heads up'. What do I have to do? Is she the only one, or do you find it difficult to find a match when you're done?

What about when birth control was not available? I guess that was the fifties (right?) when teenage pregnancy was almost unheard of. Why are there more pregnancies now, with so much available birth control, than when there was none?

P.S. I'm interested to hear from those who were living in the era when abortion was illegal- it wasn't that long ago.

You are well-educated.However,your husband doesn't want you to go out and work.He says tht he wants you to relax at home, have fun with family and friends, pursue hobbies and be always there for him when he returns home from office after a tiring day.He provides you with ample freedom, the only restriction being tht he doesn't wish to have a career-oriented wife who keeps running after money and power, neglecting her home and family.
In return,he provides you with all the comforts in life, respects you,is very loving and caring and is a wonderful dad to your kids.
How many among you would stay happy with such a man? Pls give me your sincere answers.

Can a woman solely go ahead with the decesion to terminate or give birth by ignoring the fathers decesion in case of a dispute?

If the reason is that he should have been more careful and kept it in his pants as women seem to point out then what about the woman should she have refused to have unprotected sex in the first place?

Or is this how entrapment works for men?

For one careless night of passion you either pay or go to jail solely on the deceion of the woman?

"Men have the right to decide parenthood. Its called keeping it in your pants"

Posted by a lady on a question on equality and justice for men.

What about women what should they do with their pants so to speak?

Sounds like entrapments are perfectly acceptible it is for men to be safe.Is this really equality ?

Are we saying women who do this entrapment are not at fault and it just boils down to men suppressing their sexuality?

One observation that I've made is that British feminism is more Left-wing, while American feminism is more capitalist: women liberate themselves by climbing the business ladder. (Does a minority of women doing this change life for the majority?).

Marxist Feminists see capitalism as responsible for bad (non-egalitarian) relations between men and women. Women's oppression is seen as class oppresion: oppression that's maintained because it serves the ruling class' interests.

What do you think? Are you a left feminist or a right one?

Why do we have more single mothers than single fathers? It takes two to have unprotected sex. Why are more fathers inactive/absent parents than mothers?

I posted two questions, one for each gender, asking what is considered degrading for men and women. I noticed one big difference between evaluating the genders:

The majority held the woman responsible for her own degrading acts: "skimpy clothes," "stripping," "being idiotic," etc. While the majority also held a woman responsible for a man being degraded: " I think it's degrading for a woman to correct her husband in front of other people," "Expecting him to resolve problems instead of taking problems from his shoulders," "men having to pay alimony, etc.

Any thoughts?

They know they're not very good in bed, but after you're married its like little league baseball... Even if you suck, they still have to put you in for at least a couple of innings? Those that know they have the equipment and/or skills dont get married too young?
