Telling a man to take responsibility for contraception is NOT the same as telling a woman that she has no responsibility.
If a man complains about unplanned pregnancy, it is a perfectly logical response to tell him to take precautions. This does not absolve the woman of responsibility. It simply means that he, too, has a choice in the situation.
If a woman complained about unplanned pregnancy, I would tell her the same thing.
In other words, you're getting this reaction NOT because you are solely responsible, but because you are complaining about something which you CAN take steps to avoid. Isn't it easier to take those steps than to do nothing and then complain?

Men can excersize their right to parenthood by refusing to have sex without using a condom. Its not that hard.........no pun intended.
Maybe instead of what you call entrapment, you should excersize your right and wear a condom or refuse to have sex with that particular women. No reason you need to suppress anything all you need to be is sensible.

Oh for pete's sake. If you don't want to be a parent, freaking take responsiblity for your own dang sexuality. Wear a condom. Get a vasectomy. Don't have sex. I don't care if a woman tells you she's sterile, already pregnant, or on the pill--what the heck are you doing just handing over your own personal responsibility???? You do it because it's easy and it feels good, but face the truth--you DO have responsibility here, and it's up to you to take it or face the consequences. Same thing with AIDS/the clap/whatever. Her telling you she's "OK" is NOT a free pass for you. YOU have to take responsibility for YOUR behavior. Geez. Get with it, already.

HHMMMMMMM, THIS IS VERY INTERESTING FINDING FOLKS ARGUING ABOUT WHO SHOULD BE THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY WHEN SEX IS INVOLVED. HAVE I FLIPPED OUT COMPLETELY ? AM I ON SOME STRANGE PLANET? HERE WE ARE IN THE GREAT AGE OF AIDS AND PEOPLE ARE INVOLVED IN INTIMATE BEHAVIOR WITHOUT CONDOMS? ISN'T THAT FRIGHTENING TO SOME OF YOU? JUST ASKING.........
I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I HAVE NOT ALWAYS SETTLED THE ISSUE OF PARENTAL RIGHTS PRIOR TO BECOMING DEEPLY INVOLVED (no pun intended) WITH MY LADY FRIENDS. BUT THERE WAS, AT LEAST, SOME MYSTICAL UNDERSTANDING THAT RESPONSIBILITIES AND REWARDS WOULD BE SHARED EQUALLY. I KNOW THIS IS TRUE BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER BECOME SEXUALLY INVOLVED WITH A STRANGER. WE WILL BE HAVING ONE HECK OF A DETAILED DISCUSSION PRIOR TO UPCOMING FUTURE EVENTS OF THIS KIND.

No...women who entrap men in this way are to blame for the predicament. However, men can exercise caution (to lessen the chances of this happening to them) by using condoms or abstaining from sex with someone you really don't know well enough to trust.

if we are talking about equality.. the i think both men and women has their way of saying regarding parenthood... the reason why its called "parenthood" means that both husband and wife have their role in playing a part...

There are brothels, right ? Dating should be used to look for a good wife and mother and not for hot sex. If you dont want to have children at the moment with your gf, go to a brothel.
