The antagonist of feminism is obviously men and whether or not it was intentional, has that general view of men lead to the discrimintion of men in society today and the effort to portray them as batterers.
And in the process of vilifying men has our society given women a free pass when they do wrong?

Where is all of this power women are alleged to have?

"**** I think most men and women already are supportive of the idea of equality between the sexes. Supporting an abstract idea is one thing, however, putting it into practice is quite another. ****"

If the majority of women really wanted equal rights, don't you realize they would only need a fraction of men to agree with them to have acquired their Equal Rights? So where's the pudding?

want men to take the lead and be head of the household

Recently when I was driving at night with my cousin, she noticed something I kept doing. Everytime I pass a house at night with its lights on and curtains open I slow down and totally gawk. I don't know what I'm looking for, or why I even look for that matter.

Do you like to look too? Do you know why? Have you ever seen anything interesting??

I also like to go to open houses (especially in my neighborhood) even though I am not in the market to buy. I usually have something prescripted to tell the agent, like oh we're looking for more space or such.

I also go to estate sales just to see the inside of the home! Sometimes I'll buy some junk so I don't look obvious.

Anyone else guilty of this voyeuristic/nosey behaviour?

Ok I get the *outward physical* strength argument, as it applies to men being "stronger"

Yet why do we ignore women's *internal physical* strength, such as our stronger immune systems and longer life-spans?

Is outward physical strength seen as the superior assest simply because it is a male dominated attribute?

If attributes were reversed, would internal physical strength be seen as superior?

Do these differences imply biological equality, not inequality, in that what one lacks the other has, and vice-versa?

"In the course of our struggle, and as part of it, we will reeducate men who have been brainwashed into believing that women are naturally the inferior sex due to some flaws in their biological makeup. Men will have to learn that, in the hierarchy of oppressions created by capitalism, their chauvinism and dominance is another weapon in the hands of the master class for maintaining its rule. The exploited worker, confronted by the even worse plight of his dependent housewife, cannot be complacent about it - he must be made to see the source of the oppressive power that has degraded them both."

If this is true...exactly what is wrong with it? I only ask because that's the standard line in this forum--feminists don't want equality, they want to be superior. So, do you think it's true? And I would appreciate some legitimate research to back the statement up if that's at all possible. Thank you.

Why do so many women prefer men who treat them like crap? So many women line up for relationships with ******* which is bluntly obvious to them and everyone else but act so surprised when they end up being screwed.

I'm not thinking of starting to treat women crappy or anything. I'm in a happy serious relationship with a wonderful woman, but even she doesn't understand this. I was just curious about this phenomenon about women who are attracted to players, criminals and the like. Why is it like that?

It seems so stupid for me but some of these women I really respect and admire. Some say its the excitement, but its a no brainer considering the emotional and physical abuse. What's the deal?

Pardon the manner of the question, I just wanted to get it across clearly.

Men,

at what point do we have to take a serious stand. Let be honest, for years, women were discriminated against. They deserve equal rights and equal opportunities.

But now it is men who are discriminated against. Women have to meet lesser standards in physical jobs such as the military and police officers. Thus, more qualified men are losing their jobs.

Feminists have convinced lawmakers that women and men are completely equal, even though thousands of years of biology proves the top men will always be stronger than the top women, and thus, jobs based almost exclusviely on physical strength are going to be dominated by men. Yet, women have taken those jobs away from men with these discriminatroy laws.

In all honesty men, at some point we have to draw the line. This is not fair. Just because women were discriminated against does not give them a right to discriminate against us. Any thoughts on how to address this problem??

Why would a 36 year old man be interested in a 23 year old young woman?
1) Sex (easy target because she's young and dumb)

2) He's too immature to deal with a woman his own age

3) Other (explain please)

I'm asking because I've been going out with a 36 year old man and when I stopped and thought about it, it seems really strange. I'm mature for my age, but at the end of the day, I still live at home & am just starting my life.

What does that mean?

Children are obedient (or at least we'd like them to be), but why would a grown woman need to be obedient?
Also, please state whether or not your ideals are informed by religious convictions.

MORE REPUBLICANS SATISFIED WITH SEX LIVES THAN DEMOCRATS
http://abcnews.go.com/Primetime/News/story?id=180291

Of those involved in a committed relationship, who is very satisfied with their relationship?
Republicans -- 87 percent; Democrats -- 76 percent

Who is very satisfied with their sex life?
Republicans -- 56 percent; Democrats -- 47 percent

The poll analysis also reveals who has worn something sexy to enhance their sex life:
Republicans -- 72 percent; Democrats -- 62 percent

When asked whether they had ever faked an orgasm, more Democrats (33 percent) than Republicans (26 percent) said they had.

Considering the vast majority of feminists vote democrat, how much would you say feminists are skewing the results here?

Why is it that so many feminists seem to equate promiscuity with independance? I mean, what does one really have to do with the other? Can't you be an independant woman vertically? I say that feminists equate the two because they've always been at the forefront of the so-called revolution.

So apparently now random male airline workers are also authorized to tell women what they can and can't wear: http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/metro/braun/20070905-9999-1m5braun.html . A girl was almost kicked off her flight to Tucson, AZ, for wearing a white miniskirt. Welcome to the Middle East.

Aww, poor airline workers, all distracted by women's clothes because, as we know, men are just brainless sex fiends who can't control themselves with beautiful women around.

This is absolutely horrifying and simply outrages me. It is plain and obvious sex-based discrimination and - I would even go so far as to say - harassment. Her skirt was NOT obscene; with her legs crossed, you couldn't see a thing. Even if her skirt was obscene, NO ONE would be able to see it while she was SITTING DOWN on the plane. Her top was more than modest. I plan to write to this woman to encourage her to file charges. Is this not completely outrageous?
