take a look at the answer that i chose as best answer. that answer was reported for abuse by someone. what exactly is abusive about it? seriously, i want to know. there were also a few other answers that were not at all abusive but critical of feminism and they were also reported. yet i can point out a few answers there that are very critical of my view, but nobody reported those. why this answer?

A woman wants to be a doctor, and she can apply for a scholarship --- men and women council her and praise her for her studies.

However, if she desires to be a young mother many in society scoff at her and give more warnings than praises … plus, few beyond her immediate family (husband, parents) reach out to educate her on how to do this.

What’s wrong with getting a “Mrs. Degree” in today's society?

I thought i'd post here after reading another post about women's influence coming from sex.

A guy at our office often speaks about women's equality issues at lunch time...he said once that deep down most men actually hate women....and if not for sex most men wouldn't deal with them at all....I disagreed with him and said "What you don't love your mother" to which he looked away. This incident bothered me because it made me examine the whole macho guy attitude (and my own) towards women. It seems more likely that when guys speak from the heart (like when they don't have to worry about being politically correct) they usually speak of their mate at best as an inconvenience, and at the worst with absolute vile disgust. Why is this? I really hope that there isn't so many women haters out there....but it just may be something in the male pysche that is dark and disturbing.

So far, I get worried that I may become obsolete in 10 years. I know that as a supermodel, I get psychological and physical training constantly, but just wanted to check. Who do men really prefer? Is Sherry Argov correct?

As you well know, the attraction that women have over men from sexual attraction and attention of men is a fact of society. If for some reason men stopped being attracted to women for sex, would they basically become second class citizens?? I suspect this is the case, because on whole, women lag men in the vast majority of roles, in almost every society. I know this may be unsettling, but are women compromised without their power of sexual attraction?

Why don't people realise that if we trumpet about being strong women, it means we are, rather than they could have some fun getting us all riled up, proving how insecure we are?

They are so silly. Why can't they see that when we post replies that they think are overly emotional, angry and hysterical, it can't be true because that's a misogynistic stereotype and really we are teaching them a lesson for messing with us?

And why do they keep abusing us about feminism not being about equality when we TOLD them a million times it is and taught them a lesson too while we were at it hahahaha?

I see very few woman as they get older have their hair long as when they were young.

Can it be good, if already hormones are taking away some of your femininity, that cutting your hair just makes it more apparent? I have seen some older woman with long hair, and I think it looks great. Or is it just me?

Is life just about marrying and having kids? What interests them? How do they let off steam? What do they enjoy/dislike? What are they doing socially? Do they feel fulfilled?

Just curious about where that demographic is as we steam into 2007...
