Whether she is hiding under the covers until the lights are down or out, or changing out of sight, "modesty" seems to get in the way of romance and intimacy. Assume that her husband genuinely and frequently tells her good things about her and her body. How does a woman become confident, proud of, and skilled at showing off her body to her husband?

i asked a question involving a single incident that had extenuating circumstances where the wife did not immediately want to have sex (middle of the night, having a nightmare) but the husband, whether or not he heard her protests (he may have been sleeping), continued without her consent.

i got some fairly disturbing answers....
why do people think that a wife cannot decline sex w/ her husband? doesn't this imply that she is property & must bend to his will, regardless of of her wishes or emotional well-being? what do you think of these attitudes & responses?
[quotes to be added]

(please be nice! thanks)

Have you ever watched a Jerry Springer show and said..."whew, now I don't feel so bad, because I am not THAT f-ed up"...

same ruse they use to "empower" todays "woman"...in advertising, make your boyfriend/husband look stupid...and VOILA...I feel BETTER, and where is my emotional punching bag now...

...he dumped YOU because you swallowed the lies, and became an incessant complainer of what you DON'T have instead of being content with what you DO have. It's keeping up with the Jones notched up a few thousand degrees.

But it sure "empowers" woman to get out to those "sales" and fill the coffers of those who played you for a fool.

I read some where that women who spend a lot of time together start the periods at the same time.
and
Is it true that most women start "flowing"at 4:00 am? It has something to do with the moon.

what is up with the whole hairless or nearly hairless thing? Is this a reflection of the fact very young girls are seen as sex objects? It seems odd and degrading and i'm not sure of the motives.

So I know this question will probably piss off a few of you women, but considering the number one reason relationships fail is over lack of communication, how many or you women are willing to admit that you are causing your own problems? Here is why.

Women are excellent communicators, when it involves your female friends. Your communication with your partners however are far from adequate and here is why.

Women feel that we men should just be able to know when you have a problem, or know what you are thinking. I hate to break it to you, but none of us can read minds. For example.... when your partner does something that gets on your nerves, you throw hints about it, but you never outright come out and say anything... you just flat out dont communicate openly with your partner. Sure.... you have absolutely no problems going and bitching to your girlfriends about it, but the only person that matters, and the one who can actually do anything about it is completely left out..

Hillary Clinton has recieved endorsement from the National Organization of Women (NOW) and has practically declared that she is the very definition of feminism itself.

How do you feel about her sudded feminist declarations and how will this affect her campaign? Has Mrs. Clinton just made the best or the worst descision for her career? How do you think the general populace, feminists, and anti-feminists will respond?

I like being a woman and I don't want the same rights as men. I'm happy like that. I still want them to so the hard, heavy work. I don't think women are better than men or men are better than women. What do you think about feminist? Why are they always trying to prove women can do the same things men can? Can you, woman, do 12 hours of heavy construction work? I don't think so...

I'm doing a project on the waves of Feminism.

I have 3 Barbie dolls to represent kindof the "head women" of First, Second, and Third wave feminism.

I have ideas in my head, but I would like to know who you all out there might think I could choose, and for which wave.

Thankyou very much:)

They:

- cry when they're happy.
- get angry when they're sad.
- are silent when they have something to say.
- argue a point even though they've forgotten how the discussion started
- wait for >you< to chase them down when they want some intimate attention
- wear shoes so unstable they can barely walk, only to complain that their feet hurt and need to sit down.
- wear clothing so fabric deficient you wonder if they use double-sided tape to keep their breasts from flinging out in all imaginable directions under the pressure build-up.

Anyone have anymore they'd like to add?
