Yes.

Men have to the freedom of choice of what they do with their body, when they do it, when they don't do it and the responsibility that follows it. The time to decide if they want the possibility of fatherhood is prior to planting the seed. Once the seed is "sown" they have "let go of it" until there is creation of life, which then is an extension of their own life, and they are responsible as a father for that life should a baby be brought into this world. They know prior to the sexual act of the possibilities and the woman holds the right to choose regardless if they agree with her decision..

Women have the same responsibility to decide if they want to the possibility and responsibility of being a mother, as the man, however there is one caveat...pregnancy as a result of force, rape etc basically against their will, does not diminish the reality of parenthood that goes with the baby, wanted or unwanted.

Since the "new life" grows within the mother, not the father and alters their body, psyche, and also poses possible risks to their own life, it is for the woman to decide.

Leaving the decision to abort a pregnancy only if there is a threat to the life of the woman opens the door to "right to life" influences that color over the reality of the situation.

No one has the right to act as God in forcing a woman to carry thru a pregnancy and into the risks to her life regardless of the arena which poses the risk.

Note: I do not agree with late term abortions or partial birth abortions.

I have never had one, nor would I have ever chosen to have one. I hold no prejudice toward women that have, it's between that woman and her God or Divine power.

Neither women nor men should have a say. Abortion is wrong , unless the pregnancy threatens the woman's life or health. If you don't want to give birth, don't get pregnant in the first place. Maybe harsh, but the truth none the less.

I think as long as women keep insisting on being so selfish that they alone decide if the baby is raised and if the guy suffers 18 years of payments, that men are thus justified in thinking of women are selfish, immature pigs.

It is no wonder that few guys respect women these days when women think they can trick or snag a guy into paying for a kid he does not want just because the condom breaks.

I do not beleive in abortion, I belive every child has the right to life and we as parents have a duty to provide for them and love them with all of our hearts.

With that being said, let me just say this.................

There are many reasons why a woman would want to have an abortion.

She could be a rape victem and the trama of having this child far out weighs the benefits to giving it life to her mental stability.

She could be terminal ill and aborting the baby is the only way of giving medication to the mom so that she can live versus killing of both mother and child.

She could be loose as a goose with her relationships and gets pregrant more than she doesn't. Got to wonder about those gals who can't keep their panties in place. Is this really the type of woman we want raising a child? Probably not, especially if she 3/4 rabbit in the production line. When would she have time to raise a child correctly?

I would say to the above cases that a woman has the right to make her decision. It's kinda like putting on a safety belt in the car, but much more serious.

To the young woman who gets pregrant before she is ready, ya got to scratch your head and wonder why. They do make condoms these days in various flavors and uses. Better to wait for sex than to become a victim of it and bring a child into the world when neither of you is ready for it.

Basically, I beleive that a woman has the right to do with her body as she chooses. Just like I chose that I would never have an abortion so another woman has the right to choose that she will.

The man should have a say, but the woman should have the final word. It's ultimately her decision, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't listen to his advice or hear his opinion, especially if he's really a decent guy. At the same time, the guy should understand that it is really her call.

Even if it is one person's choice, open communication and discussion is never a bad idea. Plus if you're going to have an abortion, I think it's fair to at least tell the boyfriend/husband about it up front.

From what I've read, many women have the misconception that abortion is somehow tired solely to their bodies. While I do agree that there would be more weight to what a woman wants than a man in terms of whether or not it should be done, the cells dividing in their uterus are not comprised solely of their DNA.

It took two people to impregnate the woman, it should take two people to undo the process.

Are you relating male legislative leaders attempting to bypass "no abortion" rules? there isn't any think approximately complaining. in case you particularly ought to make a distinction; grow to be a style of lady leaders and talk your voice. additionally, confirm to vote, vote, vote. pay interest to who's working for you community law and vote for somebody who you have comparable ideals with. interior a similar way in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, remember that one and all those adult adult males are a similar adult adult males that gave women folk rights interior the 1st place. I DON'T BELIEVE IN ABORTION AT ALL so if the father wants the baby he should be able to have the say so before an abortion occurs, but i don't think he should be allowed to make her have an abortion. of course there has to be guidelines and certain limitations on some cases.

Which article?

This is a subject which will never go away. Yes, it is the woman's body but, she made the decision to have sex and has to accept responsibility for her actions. If she conceives, the man has a part in it. If she doesn't want him to, why did she have sex with him in the first place? Then, it has to be decided between them . I am against abortion. I have my own reasons for that. If she doesn't want to get pregnant and carry to term, she should refrain from sex or get her tubes tied. And that is her decision.
