Couple of times I spent my winter holiday in Serbia with a part of my family and friends. They celebrate the orthodox Christmas on January 7 and I noticed they have many beautiful and interesting traditions usually kept and respected by women. However, last time I was there I felt it too political, to nationalistic and too macho. Every dinner my husband and me were invited to, turned to an unpleasant political discussion ran by men. Also, I heard some guys celebrated it on their own way – shooting from their guns on the very Christmas Eve. No magic, no sparkling, just one girl shot in front of the church. The only things that I appreciated were the great efforts of Serbian women preparing the meals, cleaning the house and opening them for the guests. And after all they do, the man should be the first who enter ones house, otherwise, the bad luck will follow this family. At the end, I saw those women resigned, exhausted and unconcerned by

I think a friend of mine is having a mid life crisis. She was quite conservative before, but now in her 40's she has gotten a [teen] tattoo & nose piercing. before this you wouldnt even think seh would be the type of person to get anything like this. Could this be a mid life crisis? All the people she works with ar eyounger than her, they could be influencing her into these things. Her partner is 5+ years younger, could it be reaching out to be younger?

If this is true, does this mean that this is actually a biological sign that suggested the way females show their weaknesses and respect towards their partners? Is this actually the way they attracted males for millions of years along the history of humanity? Is this why males always felt compationate towards females eventhough they have to risked being fooled by women only for their own goodness?Your opinion please....

I accidently kicked my friend in the crotch and I just told her to get her *** back up(I apologized of course). She didn't get back up.. and I just walked away. Does it really hurt girls that bad to be hit there? I don't want her to think I'm a jackass.

Just a quick note...I am not implying this question in any sexual manner of any sort; just out of my own curiosity.

Why are vaginas or a woman's pubic region considered to be more private than her breasts?

In movies, my theory is also prevalent. A quick shot of a woman's breasts would give a movie a PG-13 rating, but the same quick shot of her pubic region would give it an R-rating.

I was sitting at a lunch table in highschool with my boyfriend and two other girls and their boyfriends. One of their boyfriends started to tell a perverted joke and the other guy was like, 'Dude, there are girls at the table.' .... so the guy stopped. When the other two girls got up to throw their plates away the guys started to tell the joke again .... but they stopped and looked at me. 'Maybe we shouldn't tell this with her here,' they said. At this point I was getting extremely angry ... I said 'Just tell the joke, you idiot.' So the one guy looked at my boyfriend and said, 'Hey, do you mind if she hears this?' My jaw dropped as my boyfriend stuttered on, incredulously, about how it was my choice and he had no say in the matter. That was the most disrespectful b.s. I've ever encountered. The guy explained that he was just trying to be respectful to my boyfriend, since 'men are supposed to be the leaders' in a relationship.....

have six senses? And that the sixth is better developed in females? Before you go to thinking that I'm even crazier than I've always proven myself to be, hear me out. I happen to believe both things. It's the intruder sense. I hunt a lot (yeah, yeah). Do it because I like to eat meat and I don't like it to be saturated with steriods and antibiotics. But I learned early on not to stare at an animal you are about to shoot, it'll bolt on you. Does will quicker than bucks. People do the same thing. They react to that feeling that someone is staring at the back of their head, and turn their heads. Seems to me that this sense is better developed in women (perhaps because they are more vulnerable). Women are also harder to lie to. Seems to me, anyway.

Dunno. Wondered what you folks think.

Do you think that some jobs should only be for men? And should some jobs only be for women? Or should people be allowed to do any job their qualified for, no matter if they're male or female?

I'm 36 and happily married with two children. I have a Masters in Chemistry but I have not worked in the last eleven years since becoming pregnant with my first child. My husband is wonderful and takes care of us extremely well with a low six figure salary which gives us the ability to have a great house, cars, a boat, a thriving 401(k) and plenty to invest and save. I spend over 20 hours a week volunteering in the school system and am 100% responsible for all the housecleaning, laundry, dishes, cooking and shopping. I also provide both my children with all the necessary homework help and transportation to and from after-school activities. So, I am a relatively busy person and have little time to spare so I can read and listen to opera. I wonder why it is that a person that has so much can have this overpowering feeling of not being fulfilled..am I just whining too much? (Incidently, this is a serious question and I will ignore stupid answers)

Ladies- what would you do if you were stuck in a really bad traffic jam and badly needed to go to the bathroom?

Would you try and hold it in?

Or go to the bathroom in a cup or a bottle inside your car?

Or relieve yourself on the side of the road or behind your car door?

Or would you get out of your car, try and find a bathroom, and then walk back to your car?
