I dunno.. I had an epidural and it was still the worst pain of my life. Luckily, its over fast and you'll soon forget it. I think the worst part is the few days of healing you will need afterwards.

Generally, the only part of pregnancy that is painful is the labor.

There are a number of relatively minor discomforts during any pregnancy; but they're not painful (although someone could get a little backache or something like that occasionally).

When it comes to labor, there's no doubt about it that its painful; but in the beginning of labor it isn't all that bad, and by the time it gets really bad you're pretty close to having the baby.

If you want an epidural you have to get to where the baby is almost born (so there's a little time of pretty dramatic discomfort but not long), and then you're given the epidural, which takes all feeling away from your waist down.

If you don't want an epidural you can learn breathing exercises, and you'll feel the delivery; but people do it all the time.

Either way, don't worry about it. Labor doesn't take long no matter what kind of labor you have, and you're kind of in a different frame of mind anyway.

depends...if your one of the lucky ones epederals will take all your pain away. If your like me and they won't work on you then you are in for a lot of pain. the pregnancy itself is not that bad, its when you deliver that you will be unconfortable.

It varies from person to person honestly. One of my sisters said that it's not that bad, but my other sister will tell you it's the worst pain ever felt.
