There has to be balance. A romantic relationship doesn't work if there's no physical attraction, but at the same time, a good heart and a compatible personality can make a person more attractive than they would be with only the physical aspects. Honestly, I wouldn't bother with a hot guy with no personality, and I couldn't date an ugly guy with a great personality. As for brains - smart doesn't automatically mean nice or socially competent. Again, there must be balance.

Brain! Just because a guy is cute doesn't mean he is Mr. Right. The guy has to love others, not only himself. And, I'm not saying all cute guys are shallow. But, most of them are. Girls should be treated equally and fairly. A smart, caring guy is better than an epty headed beauty.

Girls look in a guy both beauty and brain. Beauty attracts them at once. So they like beauty. Without brain, you cannot handle girls. So both are equally useful.

From my own personal observation, beauty triumphs over intelligence, always, regardless of the woman's maturity level. This is the same phenomena you see with regards to men and the women they are attracted to. Beauty is the most important factor in physical/sexual attraction, not intelligence.

I also feel that if you are an extremely attractive guy, being extremely intelligent may work against you in keeping a mate. It may be that some people feel intimidated when in the presence of someone who is very intelligent and may feel that they are being "sized-up" by the intelligent person as not up to his/her level.

Some only want beauty. No one only wants brain. Nice guys are disadvantaged, bad guys have the upper hand. So be a beautiful ******* and you will get to know a lot of girls, but not women. Women look for other things in men.

Not considering anything else, I would go for brains every time. Kinda hard to talk to beauty. Plus someone with brains is just more interesting.

obviously your always going to be with someone your attracted to. From my experience, its not always beauty that draws me to a guy, but who he is, how he treats other people, and if he loves life. Beauty is great if it happens to be there, but it only goes so far. You can be with the hottest guy in the world for about a week and be sick of him! Brains....yes! If he's smart, he will know how to treat people and be a real person! (Hot guys can be real too, doesnt seem to be as often though)

Kindness and the ability to listen, experss ideas/feelings, laugh and show affection (at least in private) Brains OR Beauty is just an added perk.

True, unconditional love. If i were to select from the two, i would prefer brain. Because no one can have a brain transplant or "brain lift" while people can have a "face lift" or "body contouring."
