Just wondering, some wimmen on here seem to have a low opinion of Ann Coulter, including me, but I'm not sure why. Of course, anyone who has a problem with strong women is a misogynist, so obviously she's not a strong woman, so let's run through the criteria as extolled on here before shall we:

* Emotionally strong, able to emotionally defend herself - Well she has a potty mouth and apparently "loves to pick fights with liberals":

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2002/07/19/wmed19.xml

Also, she doesn't take any bull from men, she recently called a presidential candidate a mean name..

* Independent and supports herself - Well she has a law degree and has worked as a law clerk, litigator and on the Senate Judiciary Committee. She is single.

Of course, she doesn't like feminists very much, but we all it's not whether you toe the feminist party line that makes a woman strong or not is it? HAHAHA. Don't make me laugh.

So what is the reason she is not a strong woman

I am NOT sexist, I just state my beliefs.

I seriously do not understand why girls get so offended. Being called a man is actually a compliment to me. For hundreds of years the world has been dominated by men and it has only been a short period of time since woman were given rights. For me, being called a man mean I have the strong will and nature of a man. It is actually good because I can stand for what I believe in and still have strength. Some girls just say NO I'M A GIRL!! I honestly don't understand that.

And also, since women have been advancing in these past years, calling a guy girly also clasifies as a compliment. A guy is being compared to the women of the world and considering how now 60% of colleges are filled with woman, that means the man is smart and strong inside...

In reality, to men seriously like women who are sticks? Is not the point of being a woman to have fat on her; her breasts, her thighs, her bottom, etc?

Why does society and media look down upon women who are bigger? Not only does this happen to older females but also to younger ones.

I want to draw attention to the most insightful and intelligent answer I've seen on here recently, from a thread about strong women, by Croa, it was chosen as best answer, obviously:

http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070326125245AAtFMtN&r=w&show_comments=true&pa=FZB6NWHjDG3N56z6v_2zWewLa4TJTR7N5diim9AsyZo0yxlcw1wGuw--&paid=add_comment#openions

"If you ever are blessed enough to watch a woman give birth then you'll KNOW that a strong woman is the most beautiful, sexy, alive creature in the world."

Exxxaaaccctlyy. Croa you are my new hero. I hope the misogynists on here are listening to this. We have a way to convince them their thinking is deluded now!!

So, for anyone who ever doubted us feminists, here is a video of a woman giving birth, to prove we were right about EVERYTHING:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ht6WZszIbQU

So, now what do you think?! and for the other feminists, please tell everyone exactly why this is proof that strong women are the most beautiful!!

Has feminism made women more like men instead of creating a more fair society? Sure women can do anything men can, and I've always felt that we're equally valuable - but heck, the stuff that made women so awsome is all gone. They're not the nurturers they once were - they're like men now. They're selfish and express exagerated sexuality. Since women are like men, there's no incentive to marry anymore. The only incentive would be sex, but sex is cheap these days.

Before you think I'm a sexist, know that I have women's concerns at heart. Women today live increasingly isolated and unfulfilling lives. Yes, they can afford the lifestyles they choose, but there doesn't seem to be a richness to their lives. All I see lately in women is either single-motherhood or perpetual childhood.

Have women lost something in what they've gained?

Can women only have pride if they're like men these days?

Have we forgotten to honor the differences in sexes?

I heard the word mammie means nanny, and its because the black women used to breast feed the children of the white people that they used to work for. How is it that the whites could not accept blacks as people but didn't mind having their children breastfed by them?

That is an article I stumbled across. The writer is talking about how 'womyn' (appparently anything with 'men' in it is evil) shouldn't have to be dependent on men.

Why do feminists reject cooperation so badly? Though very few men rely on women for their wage, almost every man relies on women to raise him as his mother and to bring him and his children happiness when he is married.

She bases this upon her decision that any interaction with men will result in 'male violence'. Despite the fact that most violence is directed at men and half of domestic violence is directed against them. (http://www.glennsacks.com/4_feminists_myths.htm)

What gives? I'd like to hear some feminist views on the matter.
