They can hit us but we can't hit "women." They never hold doors for us. It's unfair

Young gent. Learn to read between the lines.

Understand, when they say they want "equal" rights", they don't mean it literally.

They can't handle and don't really want to be treated exactly like a man (or boy).

It is extremely hard for feminists to to openly admit it, but women (girls) need more care than do men (or boys).

They have babies, menstrual periods, PMS, (usually) can't run as fast, jump as high, or hit as hard. So, you simply can't treat them exactly equally.

But, they feminists somehow think acknowledging that will be admitting that they are somehow inferior. But, "different" does NOT mean better or worse. Just different. Feminists don't get that.

To illustrate, just read this.

You'll see that they really don't want equal treatment. They just say they do. But, when it comes down to it, they will say, "yeah, but we're girls, we have special needs."

And, it's true.

Hint:

Don't try to make sense of it, you can't --- just listen, smile, open her door, and be nice.

"Life is unfair. Deal with it."

So, by the same token, women should "deal" with rape, sexual harassment, and a supposed "gender gap?"

Please. You don't expect that, I don't expect that, and NO other sensible person does either. Equal rights mean EQUAL rights. If you want extra rights, then JUST SAY IT, for God's sake. Do you think the men posting would really care that much if women just admitted that? If you would STOP the "women just want to have equal rights" garbage, we would at least have the opportunity of knowing one lie had been put to rest.

I should answer the question: Almost no human in existence would want to have equal rights; they would want more rights, or "better" rights.

By the way, the poster doesn't WANT to hit women, he is just annoyed that women are ALLOWED hit men. The IDEAL situation is that nobody hits anybody else. Why do feminists (and some misandrist women) always cling to that idea whenever physical violence is mentioned?

Here we go one more time for you: The overwhelming super majority of males do NOT want to hit females. Some of us are just disgusted by the fact that females are (socially speaking) allowed to hit males. That does not constitute equality; it can't get much simpler than that.

You need to meet some decent girls. Those girls don't want equal rights, they want the right to be selfish and cruel, or at least the right to be thoughtless. That's not okay, and it's not indicative of the way most women think or act.

I'm a woman. I have two sisters. I have several female friends. None of us believes it is okay to hit men (or women). The vast majority of the women I know will hold a door open for a man if we get to it first, and if our hands aren't completely full or we otherwise just can't open the door.

Girls and women are two seperate things.

If a girl is hitting you, you must be a little boy. Why would you want to hit an adult woman in retaliation for some little school girl hitting you?

Most children don't hold doors for people.

Life is unfair. Deal with it. It gets worse when you hit puberty and awful when you're an adult. You'll see what I mean when you get there.

Next time a girl hits you, let her know that as a feminist this does not constitute equality. Feminism advocated equality in all areas including gender, disability, race, age, class etc. I am a feminist and I do not hit anybody. I have taught my sons and daughters this as well. As for doors I think that whoever reaches the door should hold it open for the other. I also will hold the door for men, women with strollers, elderly people and anyone else. This is not equality this is considered respecting others who are member of the human race.

I must be in the minority here. If I choose to hit a guy (though usually in jest), I would fully understand why he would hit me back. And I hold doors for people all the time. If I go out with a guy, I don't expect him to pay for me. Yes, I want equal rights, but I expect equal rights in all things.

Deal with it. They put up with a lot of crap all over the world, they live as second class citizens in half of the countries on Earth. They can't vote, they are told what to wear, they can't travel alone are not educated, etc. In some countries they are treated as little more than possessions or slaves, girl children are considered a burden and almost a curse on the family, so are married off at an early age. Some women dream of getting enough to eat, let alone having equality.

And all you can whine about is not being able to hit them and not having doors opened for you?
Is there nothing more important in your life?

Since when is equal rights been about hitting people? That is just sick!

Women should be treated the same as men in regards to law. That is what Equal Rights is about, or should be. Women should have the same rights and responsibilities and opportunities as men.

It has not always been this way. Perhaps you should read up on the history of the Feminist struggle; you sound like you need some information. 100 years ago, women could not vote in elections or hold public office, and yet were subjected to the same taxes as men on their property and businesses. Women were not even granted the status of "personhood" under the law! Thankfully, this has been rectified.

While I do not agree with all of the stuff foisted on us by the National Organization of (some) Women, there has been a lot of good done by the women's movement. I don't believe that the sexes should be homogenous, but legally, they should be treated the same in regards to property and government and law.

That is what Equal Rights is about.

Women do get in trouble for hitting men too nowadays. Lazy women don't hold doors for their men.

No one should ever hit anyone else. But it does happen - both ways. And no, it's not fair.

Holding doors open is a courtesy, not a right.
And for the record, I have held doors open for men, women, children, any human being going through the door at the same time as me.
