Whether he is cute depends on his looks. If he's nice, it doesn't matter if he's lonely, he'll still be desirable. But if he's clingy or whiny, that's just annoying. A guy who is alone but confident can be very appealing.

Depends on the guy, whether he's cute or annoying. Lots of people are lonely at different times, so don't see how that affects anything, unless either of you are desperate or settling because one or both of you is lonely.

It depends on why he's lonely. If it's because he's too intelligent, or too much of an original thinker for the sort of people generally around him, then I would find that cute.

Most are not into this type of guy. The ones that are or will settle for him are not as likely to treat him as well as a satisfied/(seemingly) taken guy.
