"Abortion should be legal because when it was illegal, women and girls were having 'back alley' abortions, giving them infections that often resulted in dealth"

I hear that argument ALL THE TIME...

OK, well drugs are illegal. And there are individuals who still find a way to get high, snuff hairspray, spraypaint, etc, which often results in sickness or death.

So should drugs be legal? If you follow the pro-choice logic it appears that way...

So my point is..how is that a good pro-choice argument??

In terms of regression: The women of the 1960s and 70s, our mothers, etc. are a strong group of people, independent, ready to take the world by the horns. Talk to professors, feminists, psychiatrists, you can find many great women of that generation and even the ones who chose to be housewives often still have ideals.

Looking at todays girls, they are so aimless it is silly. There are some outstanding individuals, of course, but as a population? Pathetic. No ideas about life, politics, religion, education... just "getting by"

The way I see it, the feminists fought hard to get women opportunities that are just wasted by this generation. They fought for equality in education, but they didn't want you to sit around doing nothing. They fought for sexuality so you could share yourself with your lover as you saw fit and enjoy it, not so you could exploit men and be tramps with low self esteem.

How did such strong mothers and good role models end up with such useless daughters in the end?

My mother was a fantastic driver, my best friend (a she) is a fantastic driver. Now yes of course I know other female friends that get distracted at the wheel, but so with some male friends.
I don't feel is a gender issue, but a personal one. There are good and bad drivers, men and women. Nevertheless, a car is a vehicle to bring you from point A to point B in a safe way. Why all the competition??

Your thoughts on this?

And for a Sunday smile, here is a story:

Quite a few of my friends turn 30 this year or in the next couple of years, including me. While my males friends do care, they seem to be handling it loads better :-) Most of us aren't married and don't have children yet, so we're all in pretty much the same situation. Someone suggested that turning 40 for a man is the same as 30 is for a woman?
I just wondered if you could share your views in general and especially any experiences of turning 30? Also if you could do it all again, is there anything you would do differently? Thanks x

How many feminist buy their clothes from the mens department? How many feminists let their body hair grow out? How many feminists shave their heads bald? How many feminists sleep on their couch and let their male friends use their bed?

If feminist are against gender roles, why are they willing to follow certain gender roles? No gender roles means no gender roles... right?

***Please note, this isn't an anti-women question, do don't get upset ladies*****

Anyway

Through out HIStory(even nowadays) us men have done so many great things, we created laws, built civilizations, fight wars to protect our countries, and invented many great things. I mean, it is IMPOSSIBLE to list all the great things that men have done. Without men, there is no world.

Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior was a man.

So i feel it would be a GREAT to have a holiday dedicated to men only. A holiday that celebrate the greatness of men. Your thought?, brothers?

Main in search lover her and cherishes her as a friend and it pains me very much to hear such sick opinions about her.

Did you know that this little girl was the one who reformed man in search ?

He became what he is today because she as a woman never gave up and argued with me until i saw reality.

Do you think just because she is a feminist i should hate her ?

Because i can never do that mates!!!

Why is it that you men think that whenever women are in a bad mood or snap at someone you automatically say "That time of the month"?

Because I got some news for you. Not all women are like that. I'm not like that and many other women aren't like that. Just because we bleed doesn't automatically mean we're in a sour mood.

When it's that time of the month for me, even if it hurts like heck, I never become violent nor moody.

So I want to know why you men think that "Oh my she's mad or snappin at everyone it must be pms or That time of the month"?

Do "tomboyish" women that engage in traditionally masculine activities have higher levels of testosterone than the average woman?

I base this question on the fact that I heard a comment from a woman while watching a women's poker match on television a few weeks ago. In this match, one of the female poker players was being interviewed, and I recall her mentioning that she and the other female players at the table had "higher levels of testosterone" than the average woman -- implying that her notion is based on the fact that they love playing competitive poker; what is usually seen as being a "man's sport".

How much truth do you think there is to her statement?

Do any tomboy women here on this forum feel they have higher testosterone levels than the prissy, strawberry shortcake teaparty curtsy women?

I remember reading somewhere that females think emotionally while males think logically in general if this is true is this caused by the way they are brought up or is this naturally built in?

Close your eyes for a moment, take a deep breath, and forget everything anyone told you about what you "want" in a male partner. Too often we recite "society's" advice of what the norm is, and how we should act.

Close your eyes again and think 1 more time:

What would he look like, act like, how would he treat you, would be be rich, poor, good looking, and finally, what role would you want to play in the relationship.

look deep inside.

I loved and admired my Grandma sooo much. Us grandkids were her whole life.

Grandma always used to say:

"Pretty is as pretty does!"

She would say this when we were up to no good, pouting, or being brats. I still say it to this day! I have 3 sons, but they catch my drift.

I noticed really hot women are usually fed up with affection - everyone wants them anytime anyplace... So sex is always there, mileage is usually high, and its all about you doing all the work while she chisels her nails... whereas regular girls are so much more genuinely excited and unselfish about the whole process. Its just my observation... True, not true?

Why don't they ever consider another "average" woman, who may be the delight of their lives, but they'd rather kill themselves or drink themselves to death when they could have untold happiness??????????
