You can wish in one hand, and sh*t in the other. Then see which one fills up first!
Mama was a Saint!

solid question possibly while speaking of Paradise he became speaking of a mundane paradise after all, Christians are waiting for Jesus' 2d-coming, no? the place he will rid the earth of the unrighteous and the place the bible speaks of resurrected ones living so he ought to've been telling the thief: you would be resurrected and could be on a mundane paradise, comparable to the paradise that Adam & Eve have been as quickly as on. after all, this earth became meant to be inhabited (earth isn't made to totter). re: Christians who declare to appreciate what Heaven is like....i won't be in a position to truly remark on that. i do no longer think of God could help you a glimpse and then take it returned. i think of people returned interior the day have been at a loss of what to declare to a relatives member while somebody dies, so they could say issues like "your loved ones member is in Heaven, he's with all different companion and young little ones, floating on a cloud, taking part in harps, chillin with the angels"

One of my first female managers at a very large international computer company, that was very disorganized, said this a lot and had it framed in her office: "Hurry up and Wait" It sums up a lot of what goes on in big business.

Songs usually provide food for thought. One in paticular would be, " She ain't pretty, she just looks that way."
Don't concern yourself with the outside packaging.

"No guy is ever worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry."
"Treat others the way you would want to be treated."
Absolutely 100% true. Especially the first one. I have no respect for women who cry over a guy who treats them like absolute ****. Never, EVER let a guy control you. Ever.

"You would argue with a fence post"
and
"I don't know is not an answer"
Both passed down from my grandmother and my father
LOL it comes in handy 'round these parts, believe me I realize I've only become more obnoxious with age. :-P
EDIT: and flying horse reminded me of one a wonderful elementary school teacher taught me,
"When you point the finger at someone, you have 3 pointing back at you"

My mother always taught me to listen more than talk. I would learn more. She said she who knows little soon tells it

"Put the seat down."
My mom, sis, first wife and current wife used to all say that. I do it now out of habit.

My gran always used to say to me:
"manners make'th the man."
I don't even think make'th is a word is it, or maybe an old word she used.
