crap,have snapped at her,have berated her have had harsh incidents with her,have berated her and vice versa(her doing the same thing) and she is still wanting your attention,trying to get your attention and things of that nature etc......What does that mean?And she knows your an addict as well....

It means you should tell her, for her own good, never to talk to you again. Unless you want to take advantage of a girl that clearly has no self esteem. Let her go. If you know you can't treat her well, let her find someone that will. She deserves more than being berated, etc.

May be she thinks you will make a lovely couple, as it sounds like you are as bad as each other. You should count yourself lucky that someone pays you attention at all. As a girl who is in the right state of mind would not touch you with a budge pole, unless you change your behaviour and habit.

She is attracted to abusive relationships, and eventually she will marry a guy who will treat her like dirt and lower her self esteem even further. OR she sees past all the behaviour stuff and addiction and sees you as a beautiful human being.

'Addict' of / to what? ...is this an incidental but likely a vital clue to the scenario your painting?
It seems you are painting a picture of what is generally termed as a 'Relationship,' and an 'on~going' one with a life of its own for you both ~ if you both choose to join with it.

Its a mutually destructive relationship which will leave you more bitter than happy. run from it somehow for your own good. couldnt really understand the addict bit

Why would you speak to her at all. I think you need to get some space between you and her. And find something else to do like rehab.

Honestly...you need to let her go. At this point in your life, you don't deserve her. She obviously has low self-esteem (as others have mentioned), but she cares for you in a way that you will never be able to return until you fix yourself.
So, either make that HUGE step (believe me, I know how hard it is to clean up and change, even for the better) and become the individual that she deserves, or let her go.
If you can, listen to "Hate Me" by Blue October. This applies to you quite well, it seems. No matter what you do, it's not going to be easy...I wish you the best of luck *hugs* and hope that (for the sake of you both) you are able to find yourself again and be the person she needs you to be and the person you deserve to be.
