I'am talking to feminists directly and i ask them just because there is so much of negative perception is that the only solution?

What about men who understand feminism here?

Granted i have mens issues to discuss but why woould you all want to leave?

If i i were to say dont leave will you still leave ???

Yes, well, I toyed with the idea of leaving this forum, but why should I? I've chosen to view the whole thing differently. They piss me off, I piss them off, whatever. It's all a game. I prefer to act out reality in real life and tend to look at what goes on here as a sociological experiment gone awry. I take it for what it is--a game. If people enjoy making themselves look like idiots on an international, public forum, go for it. This place has never been what it's purported to be, Yahoo doesn't manage anything, so I accept that and go along for the fun of it. It's quite a dysfunctional little group, no?

That's because those who oppose Feminism can't seem to grasp that not ALL Female posters belong to a Feminist Party. Whether or not a Female agrees or disagrees with a posters question or statement, someone will always make a sexist statement or comment and call them names. It's like being in grade school when the school bully harasses you for no apparent reason or because you don't agree with the bully.

Although it's an open forum, it is apparent that some of the Panelist have a closed mind.

This is interesting. Because it seems that many women here think that I'm a sexist, simply because I would like to see the standard of conversation elevated. I mean, part of the title of this group is Women's Studies. Yet much of the time I see very little here that qualifies as real study. And then I'm often called angry by one the participants here. Like I should be content to have my mailbox filled with what amounts to junk mail.

Women, if you want to get out of the kitchen, stop for God's sake feeding us spam!

Feminists are not the only people leaving this forum. People of intellect are becoming increasingly disillusioned with the idea. Loosely disguised hatred for anyone who does not believe the same way the question poser thinks they should...and in some cases, the hatred is not watered down at all.
It is a form of self-hatred to continuously force oneself into proximity with people who have ever intention of doing nothing but defile and degraded you. That having been said, I must hate myself because I have no intention of leaving this forum. I do not always side with the feminists in their beliefs, not do I side with the the non-feminists. It is a matter of belief for me. To leave without clearly and succinctly stating my beliefs would be to let myself and those around me down.
As for the men on the forum who want to truly discuss and debate, you are always welcome. Your opinions and viewpoints may not always be agreed with, but that is because we are all human beings, not because of gender differences. People should be open minded enough to welcome ideas that are not originally their own...otherwise none of us ever learn or grow.

I'm still around and kicking, dear Man in Search.
But am looking at both sides(male and female) with a more open mind. It's too fascinating at times to think of leaving.

There's so much anger here, so much hate...too many people think it's "funny" to go around purposefully making others angry. Every once in awhile we all have pretty decent debates in here, where I think we all actually learn something about the topic we are debating. I just don't think it happens often enough. I'm sick and tired of seeing the same crap every day. Most of the questions here seem to come from men who hate women. They've already got their minds made up about how they feel. They're only looking for others to agree with them. They don't seem interested at all in hearing any other points of view. None ever apologize for the insults they sling. They just keep on doing it, day after day after day. I'm sick of it, really. Many of us are.

EDIT: Thanks...coming from you, I will definitely take that as a compliment. I respect your questions (and answers) as well.

Well, actually, I've been thinking that this forum is a waste of time because of men like Happy Sappy and Cassius. They pose stupid questions that aren't really questions but statements of their opinions cloaked as questions. They are argumentative, sullen, not funny and offensive.

I've been away because I don't see anything good going on here. Please, make that change!

True, there are a few reasonable people here [a few only] but the majority are sexist, DON'T want to at least try to learn, DON'T want to debate.. I'm thinking of leaving myself-it's not really worth it here. I have not seen one decent debate on this section.

There are other forums.

Locke is a perfect example, see? :) Thanks for defending me.

..I'm bisexual, thank you very much. And, I love men.. Just not the ones on this forum.
