My elderly father is the bossiest person I know and has always been to a certain extent. My teenage daughter can also be quite bossy. So I guess it would be 50/50. I don't think either gender has a monopoly on negative characteristics, although bossiness according to my Dad is a sign of leadership, which I personally am doubtful about.

Men were always the control freaks, but for sheer unadulterated bossiness these days, there's nothing to choose between the sexes.*

Women easily.
Most marriages and relationships, the woman calls the shots and you better not argue. We just apologize even if we're right. Its better than letting her ***** on and on for 3 days. And we also do it, so we can actually get sex. We want it all the time, they rarely want it, so we do everything we can to no piss them off.
In the workplace, female bosses are always terrible. They think that in order to be taken seriously, they have to act like complete bitches. They need to understand than to get respect, you have to be nice. YOu catch more flies with honey than with whatever. I forget the saying.

These days.. definately women. Men CAN be controlling, but women are evil. It's actually shown in statistics that 90 something percent of marriages in which the woman is the dominant one, works out better. =)

Women, for sure. Men have largely become passive and permissive. Women have largely become pushy, arrogant, and bossy, probably because they were "kept down by the man" for so long and are fighting hard to maintain their "equality" which really results in them vying for superiority.

Hey I'd say both! Women are getting even but where I live men are still trying to dominate! Why can't we just call it even and get over it?
