Absolutely! Loyalty is not one sided in a relationship. If your both committed to each other , have a strong bond and have eyes for no one (of the opposite sex) but each other, then your foundation of your relationship is excellent. As long as you can give and take from each other without hurting one another by being sensitive to each others wants and needs. This is just a heads up guys, sometimes women need on a 75% or higher, because they are emotional and sensitive, instead of the 50/50 ratio that most guys expect. Some guys are somewhat lacking in even giving that much due to their own personal issues. Keep your woman happy , be tender , loving, and understanding and loyalty will be a piece of cake!

We are not only ABLE to be faithful to our chosen partner, we PREFER monogamy to any other lifestyle in the world. The thing is we don't ask for much in return: respect, compassion and a total commitment to the family we created together. Is that too much to ask for in the lifelong relationship?

Yes. If both of them take their time and get to know each other. find out little things about each other. I think when Women rush into Love that can be a problem. just take time and then YES both Men & Women can stay loyal to one another for life.
P.S. my one-coworker has been married 10 years they took time to get to know each other. another lady married 25 years and they were both young when they got married. not that they are old now :) God Bless

Sure, I believe in monogamy, in committed, exclusive relationships, a lifelong marriage would be ideal to me.

Yes.
My parents were married 27 years...only thing that broke up that marriage was Dad dying. And they were loyal to each other.

Yes, i believe we can. if the relationship stays exciting and is meaningful them it may last a long time. It also takes two to make the relationsip work, with equal input into the relationship it will work.
