(Assuming this isn't a troll)

To elaborate on Rebel's response, which I think is quite right... if you've experienced some trauma and this is causing an irrational fear (in most cases it IS irrational) of women with authority, the first thing I would do is cultivate some mindfulness.

What is it that makes a woman "dominant" to you. What I mean is: when you have these feelings, what specific aspects of the situation trigger them. What specific traits does the woman have that makes you uncomfortable. It could be how she stands, her tone of voice, anything, but observe this.

Two things: first of all this sort of mindful attention may help you to become more aware of the roots of this. You may discover that there are similarities to a particular person or situation from your past.

Second, by being mindful, you will be taking some control back, learning to observe your responses rather than being controlled by them.

Good luck.

TROLL SHARK

Remind me never to follow a link or do a search that you suggest. That's just... ugh!

I must admit though, of all the trolls, your audacity seems to be the most creative.

Maybe you had an abusive mother? Or sister? Or girlfriend? If so, it's very understandable why you would be wary and have problems with trusting a woman in a position of authority.

I'm not sure. It sounds like you might have some sort of psychological issue with female leaders. Perhaps some incident in your life has scarred you and made you this way? Explore your past and see if you can pinpoint any incidents that may have led to your current feelings.

Also, not that it helps, but I assure you that you have nothing to fear from (most) dominant women. They may be authoritative, but they aren't going to hurt you.

Why am I terrified of male authority figures? They're scary! Authority figures in general are scary, IMHO.

Did you have a domineering or abusive mother? If so, that could be the reason why.

I don't have an answer for you. So, what is left is to accept that which you fear. When you do that, you can begin to change it. The answer in all truth is inside you.
