Perhaps you would be a sensible one who wants to have the same legal rights as a man? Or perhaps you would be a man-hating cow. Or maybe you wouldn't be one at all... in which case, what WOULD you be like?

All opinions welcome.

The simple fact of the matter is that I would be Myself. Neither 'perhaps' nor 'maybe' will get You an adequate answer. Why wouldn't I choose to stand up for the equal rights of others? Feminism does not necessarily apply only to Women's Issues!

As a male I already have rights given to me so I think that as a woman I would prob have to be more vocal. Its just kind of obvious that they didn't even get the vote until like a hundred years ago. Same with blacks and stuff. If they didn't fight for stuff people walk all over them. Like those dudes down in La. Geez you think that crap went out with civil rights.

I'm a woman and I'm not a feminist ... my husband is male and he's the feminist in our household. I'm 'used to things being off' but he thinks they should be 'equal' all across the board. It works for us ... he's very sweet to me, and that is really all I care about ... which is why I married him. He's a web developer and I'm a retired psychologist, but I 'work' by analyzing his web designs, correcting his spelling, and by doing the 'shopping' that he doesn't have the time to do. We do the grocery shopping together, though, and HE does the cooking after he gets home from work. I'm SPOILED but so is he, and we are BOTH worth it.

No, I couldn't hurt the men-folk around me by doing so. In my youth, I did consider myself 'pro-feminist', but then I grew up & matured and saw through the 'half truths' and general misinformation (doing your own research really beats listening to 'fem-prop'). So, with that in mind, it's possible that I would repeat similarly if I were a young woman (14 - mid 20s), but I believe I would unplug myself at some or another point, just as I did in this lifetime.

"Its just kind of obvious that they didn't even get the vote until like a hundred years ago." - please - educate yourself before making yourself look like a fool. There was only TEN years between men and women getting the vote. Feminist let people like you believe there was hundreds, thousands of years - but it was ONE decade...

No, I think the rhetoric is boring and insufferable. I would just expect to be treated with respect and not make a big deal about it.

I wouldn't be a feminist. I'd be an equalist, just like I am right now.

I would have no choice but to be a feminist since I'd be a lesbian. I am not into dudes.

No, I could never hate all men.

I would be an human rights activist, just like the men, I dont see any need for women to fight seperatly for their own rights. Fighting for womens rights, aka rights for women aka rights women get but men dont, autmotaically leads to sexism.

Very, very few of the men here consider themselves feminists. Don't bother with them.
