Okay, people must be confused by the terminology. To be feminine, you are behaving in ways that are "traditionally" or "typically" female (cross and trans gendered people would know more about which mannerisms or behaviours are dropped and which ones are picked up). Some examples of femininity would be wearing make-up, dresses, high heels; being demure, sexy--exuding all those things that define traditional womanhood.
A feminist is someone who believes in feminism, however s/he defines that term. One is a way of behaving, one is a belief system. Two totally different things. Feminists are feminine if they want to behave in feminine ways--a feminist can be feminine because a feminist is a person--a feminine can't be anything because it's a description. Hope that clarifies things.

Your personal uniqueness is a determining factor. The two terms are by no means self evident nor mutually exclusive. There are as many differences between the two as there are thoughts on any given subject. Put simply, the number of people who have an opinion on any single topic of conversation would by Your best rule of thumb. This helps to explain the reason for there being so many men who are confused by feminist dogma and political doctrine. I hope that answers Your question.

The only real difference is that feminist women are less likely to conform to arbitrary standards of femininity. I've yet to see one who dresses remotely like a lumberjack. If Alexandra has ever met a feminist in real life, I'd be very surprised.

To answer this question I have to first know what you consider "feminine."
Edit: Well Alexandra, by your definition I am quite the opposite of a feminist due to the fact that I'm an introvert who dresses in dresses or skirts almost everyday.
To assume being a feminist and being feminine are contradictory is silly.

Feminine: More docile and gentle.
Feminist: Loud and brazen.
Feminine: Dresses in a feminine style.
Feminist: Might be seen dressing like a lumberjack.
Just my perception.
