never say never, just depends on the type of submission. I think they mean they'd never be forced to submit to a man.

I'm trying to think if you want the answer from the feminist angle or the angle of yourself. Taking it at the you angle:They say that Charles Manson they say was an excellent example when it came to the power of persuassion; as a-matter-of-fact, it was said that just by looking at a woman he could make her desire him. I call it persuasion.
From the feminist angle I call it closet submission perhaps?
What I mean is this. Let us say a woman is a feminist and her man, husband, what have you requests a cup of coffee, it's not a problem, so she makes him one, that is a form of submission.
Anyways; you got the idea.

Most people want to argue with their partner and be made to submit, in some way or another, to some degree or another.
Notice I said people.
Some people also want an excuse to feel subjugated or nagged or oppressed, just so they can complain. For example: the married guy who always says, 'Nah, I can't, the wife would flip,' when in reality, the wife would give her left eye to get him off the couch and into a bar so she can watch the Hallmark channel just this once.
That is just one, narrow example. People like a degree of strife. Go figure.

A well known fact of feminism - do not listen to the words to learn their ways, watch their actions - the actions speak the truth while the tongue is forked.

LOL.... I can't say whether or not I would submit to my husband.... (blushes).. I suppose that's not for public discussion...... But let's just say that I would wager that a fair bit of "submitting" is going on in many a household, even feminist ones.

The concept is sound. Be it you, or just in general.
Many people have certain ideas and things that they think they'll never do or always do.
But then they end up meeting someone who they'd go to great lengths and efforts to be with and make them happy.

Because you are clearly such an excellent specimen of manhood that they'll draw the exception for you but not for mere mortal men!

Perhaps she's thinking of all the ways that you'll submit to her when she bats her lashes.
Probably though, she's being sarcastic or just telling you what she thinks you want to hear.

Never? It's all relative. I think sometimes they will. It depends on the circumstances. Initially, they just don't want to give up their personal power.
