OK..we know television has been hijacked since being invented firstly for political propaganda use and most recently by the ultra elite of this planet to promote thier products.. to help brainwash us and then suck as much hard earnt money out of us during our lifetimes as possible..
OK.. so what happens when the oil runs out?are people still gonna watch sex in the city? and believe it. what happens when there is not enough water and food let alone lipstick to go around..then what?what are they gonna advertise then, hats and nails?
If we know it's gonna happen.. why exaccerbate the problem now?? if we know the oil is gonna run out.. why not tell woman and feminists to snap out of it right now.. and make them realise the planet needs a model with community and strong family systems in place.. not sprawling urban chaotic cities where every indivdual is trying to acheive some ridiculous goal.. and own a mansion and a ferrari.. woman need to return to being team players post oil??

I HATE television.. I never watch it.. I have VERY VERY strong principles.. as soon as a sport is over commercialised.. i BAN it even if i love the sport.. i flick every time an add comes on or switch ther box off.. i avoid adds no matter what, its one of my key priorities of life.. not to be sumliminally dictate to.. the way YOU seem to be..

i have a degree in marketing & am an expert marketer/sales person.. I have written programs and run training for years motivating others in big corporations..
I learnt its all controlled.. they know which colors will make you look (yellow & orange r best).. they know which "subliminal cues" such as comedy, sex and fear (the favourites) will make you re-act! its ALL controlled.. they know exactly how an advert will make people react..and they interlace it increasingly with topical political cues.. so there is no accident that we are all buying crap, hating arabs and eating junk food.. its the plan all along..
so one needs to question what the hell our governments are doing?? why are our TV networks not showing lassie and crafts shows.. postive things people need.. instead of sex adds.. its crazy after 10pm now.. one after the other of these expensive text sex rip offs.. do we even need them??

Super Ruper - TV is about money because it's BECOME about money..
My forfathers invented the damn thing and their intentions was never for it to be used and abused by the elite to manipulate and suck money off us.. it is for entertainment and education purposes.. and keeping society informed.. the fact a small highly wealthy and pwoerful minority have since hijacked this wonderful technology (that they had no involvement in actually inventing) and 50 years on it is now almost accepted that the TV belongs to them.. ITS CRAP!!
You and I could build our own TV's and set up our own transmission network.. I could personally design and build the transponders stations.. the only problem is the government wont allow it.. because not only do they own TV they own the air too.. so its a total monopoly really.. where mopst people have no say.. despite that TV is so important now to the way we live.. furthermore.. WHERE DO THE ACTORS COME FROM??? its all the same people!!

Recognizing that television programming is all about making money, I don't think we will see a change in it any time soon. Programming executives will continue to dish out what the public is interested in watching, plain and simple. They will also cater to the special interest groups who pay them to produce and present their messages...for money. Television is not a benevolent medium - its purpose is not to make people better and more community conscious. It is all about making money...it is a business, the same way that Microsoft, IBM or any of the car companies are businesses.
As for individuals and their viewing habits....some people use television for learning, others use it as a time waster and others use it as escapism. It will be the people who dictate what they want to watch...

I agree that there is too much advertisement on tv to try to suck us dry of alll our money. Everywhere you look there is commercials for lipstick, food(WAY TO MUCH FOOD), fashion, cars, tampons, etc, etc..
Sometimes I do wish that T.V. would focus more on important things and make commercials about important things instead of just trying to suck us all dry.
The commercials that they need to get rid of first and foremost are all of the FOOD commercials.
T.V. has already gotten rid of cigarette commercials to try to make a healthier America, which is very commendable. But, now America is dying of obesity, and obesity related diseases such as heart attack, cancer, stroke, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, asthma, allergies, etc. So now we need to start a campaign to stop the endless FOOD commercials such as Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell, McDonald's and Burger King. I am so freaking tired if these commercials pretending to be "healthy" and taste good, when they clearly are NOT healthy and they taste like utter CRAP.

do away with "actuality" exhibits commencing with kardashians. stop airing annoying parental discretion notices after 9 pm it is not mandatory,youngsters could desire to be in mattress at that factor besides. stop enhancing /censoring video clips or exhibits with that annoying BEEPING sound while human beings swear.while they censor words i think like specialists think of the standard public is dumb & can not tell that the be conscious censored grow to be Fu*ok... upload extra sci fi ,comedy,documentary series,much less cop& criminal expert series. upload extra intercourse,drugs & rock & roll after 9pm.
