I have boy girl three year old twins, just want to compare notes with other parents of twins. My biggest pet peeve is that strangers think they have the right to touch my kids. My son has blonde curly hair and people were always running their fingers through it, not so bad now that they are older. What makes complete strangers think they can walk up and touch babies, how rude!!!!!

He was playing on Mommy & Daddies bed, 'head butting' the pillow, Well, He miscalculated his 'bang' and hit his head on our wooden headboard.

It started bleeding pretty badly at first, we put a cold washcloth on it, And it's slowed down considerably...It's not a BIG gash, But it's not a small one either...Before anyone says "Go see a doctor" I am waiting for my fiance to get home from work, To take us...Just wanted to know, What we might be able to do in the mean time to ease the pain. He's not crying, And he doesn't act like it hurts at all, But when he's being active(which is constantly for a 2 year old) it starts bleeding again? Do you think it'll need stitches? And does this really warrant a trip to the ER?

i have a problem. my daughter is 2 years old. and she still will not let my husband leave the room until she is asleep. she likes daddy to put her to bed. the past 2 nights he will read to her and then tell her a story and then tell her "ok, time to go night night" and then leave the room. she will then come out of the room laughing and talking so, my hubby will keep putting her back in the room. after like, the 5th time of this happening, he'll get upset and swat her on the butt. but, she'll keep coming out. then, i will go in the room and try to put her to sleep, but, she will scream and say she wants her daddy to put her to sleep. i know it hasn't been a while trying to put her to sleep by herself, only 2 nights, but there has got to be an easier way! do any of ya'll know any ideas?

I was chatting to my friend today and she said her 4 year old is weeing herself 6 times a day for the last few weeks. There has been some past problems in her life, what with a new baby coming to the family and parents splitting up for a while, and starting school, but all this happened last year and now things have settled and gone back to normal. Mum and dad are back together and seem happy, baby is now 8 months, school is ok, and now this!! mum doesn't know where to begin in addressing the problem. when she told me I immediately thought the worse, like child abuse coming from somewhere in this little girls life and that is her reaction to it, but Im no expert. What do u all think?

Iam haveing a blues clues birthday party for my soon to be 2 year old son. He loves blues clues and I've already gotten the whole blues party pack with plates and balloons and gift acks. I've found a few blues clues items for him. My question is what kind of activities is there for kids his age to do. The age ranges of the kids at the party who can participate will be from 1-4.

I have thought about getting some construction paper and cutting out paw prints and hiding them and having like a hunt for the most pawprints.

I've seen the pin the paw on blue but it isn't something that would keep the focus of these kids. Any suggestions???

My mother-in-law passed away about four years ago. Like anyone else, my sister-in-law has a picture of her on the shelf. She and her husband occasionally will show the pic to their 2yr old daughter and say "Sydney, this is grandma Sybil". They do this so she'll know who she is since she died before Sydney was born. They'll also ask "Syndey, where's Grandma Sybil?", and she points to the front door or the stairs, not to the picture. Do you think she's seeing something we're not?

It is very annoying to me because she is very intelligent for her age and very smart with a great volcabulary for her age. I mean it really gets on my nerves to the point i am screaming at her!!!! For example, last night i asked her to put her empty bowl in the sink - she goes and puts it in the fridge!! What the hell is that . Is this done purposley os what??

Doctor says it's normal, but she's eating less today than ever, and is crying more today than ever.
I don't know what to do to help her get through this.

He is always playing with it to "make it go big" and yesterday I went to collect him from Nursery and found him showing it to a little girl! I was disgusted, I told him it was very naughty and very rude. He said she asked to see it. But he must have told her he had one or why would she ask?

I dont want him to end up being a fat kid. He eats what looks to be in my opinion enough for a 10 year old. Like 2 large scrambled eggs 3/4 of a hash brown and a biscuit. Doesnt that sound like a lot? How much food should he eat? Also, even if he just ate if he sees either one of us whines and reaches for us and pitches a fit if we dont feed him a bite too. He just always acts like he is starving? Is this normal?

my son is 18 months and still on a morning and night bottle. He is a very picky eater and has only sips of milk from a cup during the day., he would never consume the recommended 600ml per day if i stop bottles and i wory about his protein intake. I always clean his teeth after a bottle, should i just carry on?

Lately I have been having that wanting another baby feeling all the time. When I see pregnant women it makes me a little sad. Its not that I can't get pregnant. I have a just turned 4 yr old daughter who is my world. She is a huge Mommie's girl and always has been. She is extremely spoiled. She is used to me doing everything centered around her. I am just worried how this would effect her. Has anyone else been in this position. I mean I know she would love her new sibling, but I don't want it to change our relationship. And I don't want it to change her.

My son recently turned 2 and is very advanced for his age. He knows ALL the primary colors, shapes, can count from 1 to 10 (in order), knows his ABC's (in order), can dress himself, talks in full sentences (his fave now, "what did you say"), he recognizes tv characters, knows many kid rhymes/songs, loves to "read", enjoys coloring (he knows how to draw a circle & a cloud), he eats on his own using fork and/or spoon, understands if he did something wrong or right. Can recognize & understand a plethora of other things (I'll be here all day if I were to share all that he knows, he even shocks me). HOWEVER, there's 1 thing he has yet to master, leaving his bottle (that's my fault). Despite all he has achieved in so little time, people look at me as if I'm such a bad mom. I've a Jersey attitude: don't look at me wrongly & don't say anything stupid! Trying hard to learn to be nice, how do I NICELY tell people to mind their BIZ & stop assuming my child isn't smart b/c he's on a bottle?

she is o.k at home and will go to the toilet at home, but sometimes i have noticed i have to prompt her. she has been potty trained since july 06 and has only had about 4 'accidents' but all of these bar one have been on the one day a week she is at nursery untill 5 o'clockpm. she holds it in till she gets home and then rushes to the loo as soon as our front door is open...the problem is i have told her nursery teacher about this, an asked them if they could prompt her if she looks like she needs the loo but she still is not using the toilet at school despite me telling the school on several occasions. any advice would be great, thank you in advance.
