this website has a ton of party favors and they usually come in packs of a dozen.

I dont know how old your daughter is...which would make a BIG difference....but, she sounds somewhat young if you were going to put a party bag together....hmm, ok, lets say if shes between the ages of 3-10, you could always have a pinata! actually, most boys and girls like that idea, reguardless of age.... as far as having an actual item to hand out to every boy and girl, you could always try a bag filled with candy and girly things (makeup, dolls, feminine/girly type things...depending on her age of course) and for the boys, a bag of candy, with toy cars, cards, ect)

Potted plants

I made gift bags out of a flower pot. I used a plain pot as a “bag”, made Ziplock bags of potting soil and a packet of seeds and put them in the pot with a cheap set of paints and a brush. Wrapped the whole thing up with cellophane and a ribbon with a sucker attached (gotta have some candy).

That way the kids can go home, paint their pot and plant their and watch their flower grow either in the pot or in the garden. Both boys & girls would like this as gardening is not gender-specific.

What is her age? I just had a party for my daughter last weekend, and had party bags. I had them loaded with good stuff. Since you don't want bags...how about play-doh, toy jewelry, toy make-up, brush/comb/mirror set, stickers, sticker book, a little bag with a cute craft inside would be nice, color book with crayons, paint and paint book. Lots of ideas out there. Have fun!!

craft stores sell blanks [hats. sun visors bears book bags] sometimes they come in kits w/ markers some of these are washable markers so the item can be reused and redesigned others you can use glitter or glue on patches to make them unique it could be a great activity at the party or or put it the grab bag for them to take home. did any one warn you to keep the party kinda small for a kid that age ? it keeps the caos level down so she can actually enjoy herself and the games you have planned have fun!!

playing cards
stickers
playdough
bubbles
yo-yo
puzzle book with a pencil
coloring book and crayons
story book

When my children were small I always gave a Little Golden Book to each child.
They were inexpensve and the kids loved them.

Disposable cameras. They are very cheap and the kids can take pictures of each other at the party.

if you're willing to spend some money, give them each a $5.00 gift card for a bookstore
otherwise, maybe pieces to a craft or homemade puzzle, something that will put their minds to work!

don't know the age . . . but candy always works. for somewhat older children, things like playing cards, mini puzzles, etc.
