My 3-year old is having a very hard time understanding sharing, mainly because my 1-year old son is going through a very aggressive exploratory phase and grabs what he wants, when he wants. Trying to explain it to her is impossible. Any suggestions? The nonstop screaming is wearing thin!

I AM PLANNING TO HAVE MY BABY SHOWER IN FEBUARY AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE BOYFRIEND THERE WITH ME AND HE WANTS TO BE THERE AS WELL, SO I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO JUST MAKE IT IN TO A CO ED SHOWER SO HE IS NOT THE ONLY GUY THERE. MY MOM ON THE OTHER HAND THINKS IT'S A BAD IDEA AND DOESN'T THINK ANY GUYS WILL COME ESPECIALY SINCE THERE IS NO ALCOHOL ALOWED DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY BOYFRIEND IS IN AA. I THINK IF THEY DON'T COME BECAUSE OF THAT THEN THEY JUST ARE NOT GOOD FRIENDS. ANY ADVICE?

New 24 yr old GF has 2 yr old son (not mine), nice car & home. I am 21 w / nice car & home. In my car, she gives him candy & bubble gum now stuck in the seats and windows also McDonald Drinks instead of sippy cups soda wasted in the back seat. At my house he climbs on the glass tables and furniture (scary). He pulls the lamps off the tables, pours juice on the floor, tissue everywhere, knocks over the garbage, throws his toys at my Plasma TV and Glass Patio Door - she does nothing, but would get upset at me if I try to keep him from hurting himself. She do not allow eating/drinking in her car but if I try to enforce the same rules, she says he's a child and needs to eat NOW and she don't like to sit & eat at the restaurants. What's Wrong With This Picture? Is it Bad Parenting? or Property Hating? I don't know and need your help with this... believe me, MANY things have been broken in my house, but I don't really want to call it off because of her child's Bad Azz Behavior.

Me and my sister just decided we want to open up our own daycare. Is there any special classes we would have to take, or how would we go about doing this?

I am having a Polar Express PJ party for my play group. I was thinking of doing cinnamon rolls but I'm wondering if parents would be okay with that? I let my son eat basically what he wants-in moderation of course. But I know some parents don't let their kids have sweets. Will toddlers like cinnamon rolls? Or is there some other snack or breakfast item I could serve??

My son started pre-school this year and he now just turned 5 he'll start Kindergarten next year. He's never been in daycare and kept him home. When his baby brother was born a year ago he had throat problems and we had to keep him away from germs etc. Anyways now that he's started pre-school it seems like it's non-stop stomach bugs and colds. Any ideas on how to cope or what can help?? Has anyone had similar problems with their children?? Thanks so much..

I have a nineteen month old that is showing signs of wanting to be potty trained and a 3 year old that I fight with daily about potty training. We have a potty chair that is small and doesn't look like an actual toilet (it's made to look like a throne) but my nineteen month old I don't think will notice. I'm trying to find another potty chair for a reasonable price that looks more like an actual toilet so that I can set my 3 year old on it and hopefully get them both potty trained together. Any suggestions??

I have three daughters ages 1, 2, & 4. My problem is with my two year old daughter.

About two weeks ago I was informed that she had been saying the F-word at school. I had noticed she was saying it at home and I was working on solving the problem. The interim director told me that she would not be allowed back at school until she no longer used foul language. So I kept her out of school for two days and then one of the teachers asked where she was. I mentioned her being suspended and then they told me I misunderstood and that she was to be kicked out if it happened again. So two weeks has went by and not a bad work has came from her mouth. Friday I recieved a call that I needed to pick her up immediately that she had said the F-word with -ers added to it. So I was trying to rack my brain to figure out where she would have heard this phrase from. So I picked her up and the teacher told me what she said was as plain as day.

I have a ten week old teacup chihuahua that voids where she see's best fit. I buy this "pee-pad's", from the local pet store, and I always encourage her to use them. At first she would use them when I put her on it. I would say "good girl use pee pad, good girl!and give her a treat. However, the last week she has decided not to use them at all. Any help would be very greatly appreciated, thanks!

Seriously, I am ALWAYS catching him lick it out of the tub.. or stealing the sticks of it. Yes I do the best I can to keep him out of it.. I do keep a gate up, but there are times when he is in there with me and I am doing something.. Any ideas on how to stop it? I do tell him thats gross and not to do it.. I spank his hand (not hard.. just so he gets the point) but he continues. It just grosses me out so bad! Thanks!

I'm not proud to say this but I lost my 3 year old daughter in the dept. store for about 1 minute. She ditched her daddy playing hide and seek. It was the longest minute of my life and I have never been more scared. For those of us with children this question is easy.

They are 2 and 4 and always want to touch all the pretty colours they see on the screen (and convinced that all the avatars are pictures of them!). I dont want to be nasty/boring and say dont do that, so I just wondered if any of you have any fun things to tell them or interesting ideas to stop them doing it. Thanks!
