How about a personalized book? Kids really love to hear their own name in the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of titles to choose from like Sesame Street, Batman, Spider-Man, Dinosaur Land, Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes, Three Little Pigs and so many more. They are so cute and very reasonably priced....a unique & educational gift! Check it out and good luck...

Any toy would work but with a 15 month old there isn't a whole lot of expensive toys that would work. You could always buy the parents some things for the baby as well. New clothes works and a Stuffed animal. My nephew has a stuffed animal and carries around with him every where. I think you should be well under your price range.

You're kidding, right?! $40-$75 price range for an infant? Ummmm... the best gift in this case would be some sanity for whomever is trying to spend that much money on a baby!
Give it a nice pat on a butt and a nice warm hug - some love. Best gift they can receive.

Aside from developmental toys, if you are looking for something fun try a little red wagon. We bought our 14 month old a radio flyer pathfinder wagon (which is one of the nicest we found). Should be in that price range.
Toys to stimulate development are the best, but if you want something fun, go for the wagon.
Also good is a leap frog leap pad. There are about 3 different kinds of those, but they are good and will grow with the child. Good luck!

Happy holidays....when a child is that age they like putting things in their mouth still....so anything that is soft and large enough so they don't choke....from my experience with our son when he was a little tot he loved turning things and twisting them...like a man with a tool....lol....they are the same no matter the age.....If you can find something that is nested inside another from largest to smallest. and also that makes a sound when you shake it. The most simple toy is the best for this age. Go to an educational store they have great toys for each age. I found that to be the best when I've shopped for some young relatives. Good luck!

For a lot less than that you can get a game call Whack-a-mole and kids love it. They get bang things and it makes noise but has volume control so it doesn't make parents crazy. Another good idea is a computer game called Reader Rabbit. They have them for different age groups and for preschoolers you don't even have to click the mouse you just move it around and things happen on the screen. My kids loved it and I started them on those games at age 2 and they played them up until age 9 and it gets them on the computer learning and having fun.

I'm going through the same issue. I'm thinking about getting my son the tickle me Elmo or maybe the Hokey Pokey Elmo. Can't yet decide, maybe you should buy your baby something similar. It ranges between $25-$35

I would say check with mom and dad and see what the little guy needs, enjoys.....

there are lots of good hands-on things availaible in most stores, that do not have small parts....and you can always check with Babys-R-Us....

My friends have a little boy just a bit older, and he tires of almost everything they get him, and he enjoys playing for hours with the box that the toys come in....

Books! My 15 month old son loves board books and is learning so much by identifying animals, shapes and colors.
