My son's birthday party is coming up and I need to find some outdoor activities for the kids. There will be anywhere from 5 to 8 kids here ranging in age from 20 months to almost 5 years old. Any ideas? We will have a kiddie pool and probably some squirt guns for them to play with. I need something else to keep them busy and out of the adults' hair! Thanks!

I've been trying to get rid of the rash she has forever, and it never goes away and gets worse at times. I use Desitin and pure cornstarch on her. I clean her thouroughly and give her time without a diaper so she can get fresh air to her skin.

She wears cloth diapers. Not sure if that makes a difference.

My 4 year old son is for the most part potty trained during the day but still wears a diaper at night. We've tried to limit drinks after supper and encourage him to pee before bed but most mornings he's still wet. Any suggestions???

I left my 4y/o kid in the school, when i went back to fetch him , he was crying so hard, knowing him i knew he cried longer i don't know how long though. Then i was asking him what happened, in between sobs he says my teacher hit me, i asked the teacher she denied it. But my kid showed where the teacher hit him when he was already calm in our house. Do i need to be alarmed with the action of the teacher. Its my kid's first time to go to school, im afraid that he will be hesitant to go to his classroom and see his teacher again.

I have tried panties a few times and she still continues to soil herself. I have tried pull ups and have had no luck with those either. As for the potty training toilet, she will sit on it and get up within 2-3 seconds. She likes to try to disassemble the toilet (mainly the bucket thing that holds the waste).Ok, what i am really looking for is maybe some good tips to help potty train her.

ok i have a 5 year that is always making up stories and telling lies, i have tried to put him time out, have taken things from him, have talked to him to tell him how bad it is to lie and ignored it but he wont stop, he is always doing it so that he can be involved in grown ups conversations, he is always making up stuff so that he can say he has done the same things that the adults around him have done so that they will include him in what they are doing, it has gotten so bad that i have proven him wrong and all he does is cry because i dont believe him but when he does that his father believes him and it just makes it worse i have proven to his father he is lying but he says he feels bad for hurting is feelings and gives into him, what can i do to stop him?

my daughter has ballet with this girl and I think the mother expects too much from her. Last night after their recital she told her tell daughter she didn't too well in her first dance. I think the whole idea is for the girls just to have fun. They are only three and four years old.
My daughter has playdates with this girl regularly and I don't want her to ever hear this negative behaviour.

My daughter is now 3yrs old and potty trained. She was diagnosed with urinary reflux at 1. We have gone through every antibiotic and have had either breakthrough infections or a reaction to the medication. Her urologist wants to do the surgery. We see him day after tomorrow to discuss the surgery. I am totally freaked out!! Anyone have any info?? Also I found out the medication she is on right now Ciproflaxin is not FDA approved for children. Has anyone been prescribed it for their child with reflux? Have you noticed any side affects?

I was just sitting here at the computer looking at some pictures of my dad that my sister had e-mailed me. My 2 year old son walked up and started yelling "Paw-Paw". My father passed away September 19th of last year. My son would have barely been a year old. Is it possible that he actually remembers him????
