Pregnancy - September 2007

been getting worse last 2 days, pushing down pains, i know baby been head down for last couple of weeks, could this be why its painful? Backache increasing and baby moving very vigoursly today, am i worrying or could this been start of labour soon? This is my 2nd baby, didnt have no problems like this with first!!!

My doc is worried I might have it because of recent weight gain and also glucose in my urine... but I have also been so nauseated that I have to eat all the time and that could be contributing to everything and not necessarily mean GD. How did you or do you control it?

So I am packing my bag for the hospital and It's already getting kind of full. Mostly because I made a bag of snacks for the nurses station since they help you the whole time and it's taking up a lot of room. So did anyone bring a bag for themselves and a diaper bag for the baby?? Or is that too many bags?

hi. im 27 weeks pregnant with my first ;) and was planning on throughing a baby shower for a close friend who is 32 weeks pregnant. i was kind of shocked when i asked her mother if she wanted to help out because all she said was "well, its not as though we can afford to throw one for you, you know" i was left somewhat speechless since i am not throwing this shower for her so i can get one in return. my sisters are going to host mine. why would she say something like that? is it really so obviously inappropriate to be pregnant and host a baby shower for somebody else. please give me some opinions ladies as i don't feel it is fair to be treated like this.

i have always had an iregular period. ALWAYS! i have not gotten my period in two months, that has happened before. but i took a pregnancy test about 3 weeks ago just to be sure, and the negative line appeared RIGHT AWAY. i still waited the amount said in the box, but i had it in my hand, moving it. is there still a chance i can be pregnant? i know it is better to go get a blood test, and i will. i just want to know what are the chances of this happening? remember, i have always been iregular.

i feel tightening around the same place as where i had my scan done an as if there is pressure moving across back an forth a bit like wind but a little different cant tell if it is my baby or my imagination running wild!?

Went into early labor last night. Did not progress enough, but some. Went from a 1cm 20% effaced to a 2cm 50% effaced. Contractions were 5 min apart. Then went to 7. They sent me home. Doing the waiting game now. I am 36 weeks and 4 days. How close am I? Will walking help me? My head hurts most.

I took a HPT yesterday morning and as my period is 4 days late (it was one of the ones where you can test 4 days early) and saw a negative right away and didn't think nothing of it and threw it in the drawer in the bathroom I didn't wait for the full 5 mins cause it's negative.... This morning I went to throw it in the garbage and noticed a faint line going up to make the plus sign. I know that faint lines mean positive, but what about 24 hours later?? Would that still be accurate?

Okay almost 2 months ago I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend by using the pulling out method which I know is not safe. I didn't notice any signs at first but then I started experiencing frequent urination, nausea, bad fatigue, breast tenderness, and what I though I had a period it was light and lasted like 4 days. But then I ignored it then I started my stomach hardening and now its noticeable so I don't know if I'm pregnant or not...and no I haven't had a pregnancy test. If I am I'm about 6 weeks. So help.

For all of you who don't know why I say I am 9 and a half months pregnant and think thats weird. Yes when woman are pregnant its not really 9 months. it's 40 weeks which equals 10 months. At month 10 you hit your due date and could possibly go over. Your due date is just an approx date by your last menstrual period. Even though when you conceived it's 2 weeks after your due date(most of the time) they count it back to YOUR LAST PERIOD. So YES. I am 9 1/2 months pregnant = 38 weeks. Aye... can ya tell i'm irritated! No more stupid comments! If you can't answer questions having some knowledge about it, dont answer them!

I am 9 and a 1/2 months pregnant. 16 days to go... Today I have been having this weird pain. Get ready I am about to tell you TMI! I have been constipated for like a month now but I mean I still "go" just not as normal as I use to due to me being SO pregnant. Whatever I got used to it by now since I am in the home stretch. But today I have been going number 2 ALOT. And when I got I get this shooting pain that goes down my right buttcheek but in the middle of it into the back of my thigh. Whats up with that. It almost makes me want to not go number 2 anymore! Is something hitting a nerve or whats going on? By the way I have a check up tomorrow at 10 am I will be sure to ask them to but I just want to know if anyone knows whats going on now?

So about 6-7 weeks ago Me and my boyfriend were messing around. I think some pre-*** touched on or near my labia. I was scared that I could have been pregnant. I have had two periods sinse the incident. Both were ON TIME and the flow was DARK and HEAVY. Lasted 6 Days. I haven't had many symptoms besides veins more visible on my chest. Ok, so I have endometriosis and i read in some places that it might be hard to get pregnant.. and I've been very lucky and slightly irresponsible.. For about a year i had sex w/o a condom just pull out method and i was lucky enough not to get pregnant and i just have this feeling that i might not be able to conscieve for real... am 37 weeks pregnant..and am so worried i went to the hospital and i didnt expect to hear anything is wrong with me,but my docotr said im GBS positive..she said its not hurting me but there's a chance i could pass it to my baby when am giving birth..so they will give me antibotics while on labor..am so scared...is anyone familiar with this?.has anyone tested positive?was your baby okay? i never heard of this dont know how dangerous it is, am scared my baby wont be okay..help plz

I keep having dreams where I give birth and the baby comes out as my cat.. but as a girl instead of a boy.

I get really bad migranes and i need to take something stronger then tylonal cause that doesnt touch me, Is there anything stronger that is safe for the baby, im on in the first month.
