Pregnancy - September 2007

I'm 34 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I've felt weird lately. Over the last week, I've started getting these really bad headaches and they seem to get worse by the day. I've had nausea off and on in the past three days. Just yeaterday I've had diarrhea and today I have a stuffy nose. I don't have allergies at this time of the year. I've heard some women have flu-like symptoms a few days before labor but I haven't had contractions for even an hour apart. I can't ask my doctor about this until tomorrow so thats why I'm asking on here. Could this be a true cold?

I've been abstainate for a lil over 2 1/2 years now. For the past couple of months, I have these signs/symptoms of a pregnant person.... I've talked to a couple of friends about it, and they swear up and down I'm pregnant. But it's NOT POSSIBLE. Here are a few of the things I've been dealing with:
- no period since July
- abnormal food cravings
- loss of appetite
- smelling food makes me nauseous
- morning sickness
It's weird. You know how they say guys will take on some of the signs/symptoms if they got somebody pregnant??? Well, they say that here, anyway... But I was thinkin' maybe somebody really close to me may be pregnant, or something. Maybe I'm just sick as hell. Whoknows.... Any opinions?

Well i had an abortion exactly a week and a day ago, and the day after my mom put me on birth control pills. I took the 1st 7 pills in the 28 day cycle, but now i want to stop. I dont really like taking them , i always forget about them. Will this mess up my usual 21 day cycle, will i be bleeding for a long period of time.

I recently have been having sex with one of my friends, a friends with benefits kind of arrangement, but we were always safe, well until one night when we got wasted and weren't protected, and my period is now a month late. I told my friend and he said stressing over it will make it worse, but he did say he'd support me if I do end up having a child. I took a few pregnancy tests already and they all came up positive. What should my next step be?

im 7 weeks pregnant and had a scan at 6 weeks but they couldnt find a heart beat and to come back in 2 weeks but over the weekend i have started to lose blood, it comes and goes. What do you think?

I was due for my period on the 28th of Sep. and I started bleeding on the 29th, and I had bad cramps(I normaly dont have them) I was really tired on the 28th(day befor bleeding) and dizzy. This morning I woke up and had to run to the bathroom because my period was really heavy!! I have to change almost every hour and a half. I have been passing blood clots and one of them was a little bigger in size than a golf ball. I have been feeling kinda sick to my tummy too. I was just wondering what you guys all think. [I am not on any birthcontrol and we do have unprotected sex]

I've read that after a miscarriage you should wait 3-6 months or whatever your doctor tells you to start trying again. Does anyone have a physical reason why? I know your mind needs time to heal, but physically, what is the risk? I just had a miscarriage and feel fine physically. I didn't have to get a D&C or anything, I passed it naturally. I don't want to wait to start trying, but I don't want another miscariage either.

I am currently 25 wks and planning to give birth vaginally and without any pain medicine. I've done alot of research and I know what's going to happen, but I only have one friend who has given birth vaginally and without any pain medicine (out of like, forty friends who are moms). So I was hoping that maybe some of you who had given birth this way could tell me about it, I want to hear from the horse's mouth how it is going to be, and any advice from someone who has actually done it (advice that isn't "take the drugs!".) Sorry daddies, I know that some of you truly feel that you were part of the magic that day, but you didn't feel the pain, so unfortunately, I am not interested in your answers.

P.S. I know that there are alot of women out there who are advocates for the epidural, just so you know, I don't care, don't try to talk me out of it, I have my reasons and you can't change my mind. Please respect that, I hate that everyone I tell tries to talk me into taking the drugs.

okay i have had atleast 4periods the last time i've had sex.. and they all have been normal and everything. but last week i had really bad pain in my ribs/stomach area for like a whole week ? and i was just wondering when most start to show cuz i kno you can still have periods while being pregnant. thanks!

If so, is the bag of fluid that contains the baby covered it thick snotty material all over? I am curious when they scrap your membranes, do they just take alot of that snotty stuff away from one point to make it so when the baby is putting pressure there it will cause a hole or a rip to make your water pop? Thanks!

ok so im 38 weeks, and ive been having back labor contraction since last monday. and my cirvics isnt opening up at all. and the dr. said thats odd cause with how hard my contractions are, my cirvics should be opening up atleast a lill. so tormw if my cirvics still isnt open, there goin in to open it up manually, the dr said he was goin to scratch, and strecth it untill it opens to where they want it. my mom, and friend both had this done, and they both went into labor right after it was done. my firend had her cirvics open, then 30 hours of labor, and 2 hours of pushing, then a c-section. and she said the worst part was getting her cirvics open. now my dr. is goin to tell me everything thats goin to be done before anyhting happens tomrw. but i would like to here from some other women that has had this done. what did the dr. do? how long did it take? and wht kind of pain relief did they use? please tell me everything on the subject that u no.

Hello. I am currently taking a birth controll called Yazz because of my PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). It has been 12 days since my last period. I had an upper respritory infection and I am guessing that it caused my period to be a bit abnormal. I was only on it for 2 days. I do have sex with my boyfriend regularly. We don't use protection. It has been 10 days later that I have used the restroom and found a light brown discharge. Also, since then (and now it is the 12th day) I have had light pink discharge. My brests are not sore but the nipples are very sensative. I am not really sure what it is. When I first saw it I was a bit weirded out. I have never really seen this before and do not know what it is. Please help. Thank you.

How many of you actually ended up pregnant? Seriously. I'm curious. Every day there must be about 25 questions where people flip out thinking they are pregnant.

"I didn't get my period!"

"I'm only 14! Help!"

"I'm a virgin but I'm pregnant????"

"I got 12 periods but I KNOW I'm pregnant even though the test says negative I have to be cuz my boobs are sore and I got fatter!"

What do you think... out of all those people, how many were freaking out for nothing? And how many do you think were actually pregnant?

this is driving me crazy!
i dont know what to think anymore..i got my period twice already and i took an HPT test 2 times...and both times came out negative...but my brests hurt still and i get headaches and fee like i have to urinate more often...why is this happening?? and its not because im about to start my period because i just had it last week. so whats going on? please help me?

before i was pregnant i had 2 pap smears and i hate them!!! i dont know how to relaz... 1st of all im just letting you all know im 16 and 2 months pregnant, and i dont want ne rude comments please:( im looking for advice from mothers etc...
but friday was my first prenatal check up and my babys daddy and my grandma went, well i never knew a pelvic exam could hurt so bad, that medal bar they put in there and then when they try and feel ur uterus, it hurt so bad that i was crying and tighened up. the doc said i was so tight she couldnt feel my uterus.. can some one please help me on how i should relax? cuz i try but i just cant!! another thing, im getting my first ultra sound on tuesday and u have to drink 1 quart of water and dont emtpy ur bladder, are they going to do something to me again there? but then i wont really care because ill hear the heart beat and see my baby.. just please give me advice!!!! thanks

If the pill is 99.9% effective or whatever would you say that means NEARLY 1 times out of 100 someone would fall pregnant? not quite that coz it is 99.9 so maybe everyone 110 times you have unprotected sex do you think you would fall pregnant?

My partner and I love our sexual relationship and we do have unprotected sex, I am on the pill, we love each other but we are not ready for children yet, sometimes i do feel irresponsible but i love the chemistry between us and as bad as it sounds knowing its all "natural" (no dom) makes me want it with him more... but my next door neighbour fell pregnant twice on the pill.... whats your experiences and do you have any advise or anything that can help ease my mind?

I was tall and skinny (5'9"..125 lbs) pre pregnancy. I now weigh 155..and I'm 32 weeks. A lot of people are telling me that I'm more prone to go into labor sooner because I am such a petite girl. Has anyone else heard this? JUSTTTTTTT curious! THANKS!

Today when i woke up i was hurting so bad in the stomach , and it will happen every so often!
I am only 2 months preg.
I was bleeding a little bit and this nasty like rubber looking substance came out. at first i just thought it was ALOT of discharge w/ a little blood mixed in it but now im worried sick i could be having one. please help me out please
