I'm 34 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I've felt weird lately. Over the last week, I've started getting these really bad headaches and they seem to get worse by the day. I've had nausea off and on in the past three days. Just yeaterday I've had diarrhea and today I have a stuffy nose. I don't have allergies at this time of the year. I've heard some women have flu-like symptoms a few days before labor but I haven't had contractions for even an hour apart. I can't ask my doctor about this until tomorrow so thats why I'm asking on here. Could this be a true cold?

Sure. It could certainly be a cold. You're not having any labor-esque symptoms. Mention it all to your doctor tomorrow for more reassurance. Until then, relax.

You may have a sinus infection, which would account for the headaches, and stuffy nose. Make sure your Dr. checks your blood pressure, there is a possibility it could be elevated for some reason, which can also cause headaches. I was sicker than a dog the week before my son was born. My husband and other 2 kids were sick, and I was working full time. The Dr. decided to induce my labor because the baby was big and I was overdue, but it didn't work, lol. I think my body knew I was too exhausted from being sick, etc... and I wouldn't have the energy to push the baby out. He was 10 pounds and 24 inches long at birth. The next week I was over the cold, and they induced me again and it worked just fine.

Most likely, it's just a virus, but check with your dr. He'll be able to tell you for sure.
