Pregnancy - September 2007

YES i have a four year old son & i didnt find out i was pregnant with him till i was four months long. now i ask this question and i want nice & not rude answers. i had my last period July 21-25th and i didnt get August. i have sore breast and little more bathroom runs. im just curious and i will be getting a pregnancy test done on tuesday, i just kinda like to know sooner or your opinions and not rude people. Thank you and i apprectiate your help!! :)

I have my last menstral cycle august 9th i spotted really lightly pink on august 26th and it was just that one time well i have been feeling a little sick the last week and today september 1st i went to the bathroom and when i was done there was brown colored stuff so when i went to the bath room again there was nothing it was just one time im not really sure whats going on im having a little bit of cramping but its not bad

What always seemed so ridiculous is that a fetus only becomes a human being once it passes through a certain opening. That's just well... stupid (well I'm always open for someone to pose an argument). In your opinion, when does the embryo develop enough to be considered a human life with rights?

So I'm pregnant, and this is my first child. I'm having my kid at home only because I feel a lot more comfortable with it. Plus I'm going to breastfeed and use cloth diapers. When I tell people, they get kinda harsh and talk to me like I'm some barbarian who's going to eat my offspring at birth. It's getting old, and I would like to hear from other women and get some support here. I mean, women have been birthing way before any type of medical intervention came about, and we've made it this far already right?

I ask because I had i for a while but now have started to feel a little better. However, my partner, who was very strong and supportive of me, has now gone the other way and is finding it difficult to cope. My angel is 3 months old now and he is having a real wobble about everything, from her sleeping to her waking up in night etc. He is short tempered and annoyed all the time. Its just not him

Today is 9/1/07, and my last period was on 7/7/07. When I missed my period in August, I didn't really notice. When Mid-August hit, I thought, "oh, I should have had a period by now." I bought a home pregnancy test at the pharmacy and it came out negative. I thought I was ok. Two weeks later, I still haven't had my period. Next week I will have missed two periods. I have hypothyroidism and I'm on Levothyroxine. A friend of mine told me that she has a thyroid problem, too, and for both of her pregnancies, she never tested positive on a home pregnancy test. I made an appointment to go to the Doctor, and she took another urine test there. It was also negative. The doctor said the only way to be sure was to have a blood test done. I said I didn't want a blood test because I couldn't afford the lab work. How long should I wait before I use another home pregnancy test, and at what point should I whip out a credit card and charge a blood test? How accurate are these tests?

OK... I am just over 38 weeks pregnant and last time I went to the Dr I was about 60% effaced... but not dialated... so I decided that I need to go for more walks in hope of dialating... so I went for a walk yesterday and was soon after was expereiencing contractions.... (not timely) so I took it easy for the rest of the night.... and then late last night I had sharp shooting pains in my lower back/ pelvic area that shot straight through my leg.... it continuously throbbed with occasional sharp pains.... any suggestions?

What does this mean? Am I starting to dialate? Is labor soon?

I have been feeling nauseous for the past 3 days. If I am pregnant the earliest I have had sex was a week and a few days ago. I know normally people would probably say it's too early for a pregnancy test, but because I am so nauseous and it may be morning sickness, would a test be accurate?

i really need to know what yall think about this. ok, so i have gotten quite a few sonograms and all of them said sept. 18th or 20th for my due date. so i think that makes my conception date around the 26th of dec. (right?) but i am 37 weeks and the past few times i have gotten a sonogram he said that the baby looks big, but didnt change my due date. what is the most accurate time to set a due date... by the way, my conception date is REALLY important in figuring out who the father is. but when i went to the doctor i am measuring fine, not big and not small. your thoughts please... so i need to know if i am just freaking out or what.

Im 6 weeks pregnant and i had been bleeding for 6 days but i has stopped and i went to the doctor thursday and he said my hormone levels where dropping and i was going to have a miscarriage and he said i would probably pass it in the toilet but today is Saturday and i have stopped bleeding but when i was bleeding i didn't see anything in the toilet so does that mean my baby still have a chance and my level was only dropping because i was bleeding!! If someone has/or is going through this please help me. I need a miracle
