Try a third or go to the doctors but the positive was probly right.
Or are you talking about just one test showing a different result after a period of time? You should never read a test after the time period given on the instruction leaflet

trust the positive. False negatives are pretty common. Try testing again. Tell her to take it in the morning when she first goes to the bathroom. That has the most hormones in it.

She may have taken them too close together. It takes a while for the hormone that gives you a positive result to build back up in the urine. If she took one, and then another right behind it, the second one was probably too fast. This is especially true if she is not that far along.

She's pregnant. I would be willing to bet the second test wasn't done during the first morning urine, therefor contained a lesser amount of the pregnancy hormone.
Retest tomorrow with first morning urine- it will be positive.

Have her go to the doctor to have a real test done. Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate.

1. Operator error
2. Spontaneous abortion.
Possibility #1 is quite possible - but God aborts about three times as many babies as humans do.
Keep trying. Spontaneous abortions are often the result of bad genes. Sometimes you roll snake-eyes, you know? But give it another go. There's a good chance that your next baby will be meaty, beaty, big and bouncy.

Get one more test done, and have her talk to her doctor about this. Make sure you know if she's pregnant or not. It could have just been a miscarraige. TALK TO HER DOCTOR! If he says to, try a professional test.
