Call your doctor and keep him/her informed. Sounds like your first delivery. Your doctor needs to know about this.

Hi! I sure feel your pain! I'm 39 weeks pregnant and have had VERY similar pain sensations. I've experienced "false" labor for 2 weeks now, with inconsistent contractions and lots of lower back and pelvic pain. What my doctor told me is that it is the baby putting pressure on these areas and moving further down which really hurts. Also, being more active, like going for a walk, can bring on these inconsistent contractions. Also the weight of the baby pulling your ligaments around your belly is going to intensify when you walk. It is so frustrating though isn't it?! My doctor also told me when you are feeling alot of pelvic pressure, there is a good chance that you are dilating. I really hope this helps. It's so hard to wait when you're so ready! Hang in there. Great to "meet" another September mommy.

It definitely sounds like the baby's head is coming down. Which like you said starting to engage into the pelvic. Having pain in thighs also has to do with the baby lowering. The discharge is most likely just everyday discharge and yes further into pregnancy and closer to delivery the discharge will get worse. I have two girls and with both had alot of extra discharge. So there is definitely nothing to worry about. You just have to keep thinking that this miracle that is growing inside me will soon be here and the wait will soon be over. Enjoy and good luck.

I would go ahead and call your doctor or midwife and see what they say. I had pain like that for two weeks and I was dilated 4-5 cm the whole time :) lemme tell ya how much fun THAT was!
On the other hand, it could be the baby just bearing down on a nerve, or many nerves. But just to be on the safe side, I would call first and see what they say. GOOD LUCK! :D

It means the baby is perched on a nerve. He or she rolled a little and some part of their body is pressing on a nerve, and sending sensations all the way down the leg, just like sciatica. My sugggestions would be to change your position in several different ways until the baby is shifted in position.

It sounds like the baby has moved down preparing for labor and is affecting your sciatic nerve. Happens all the time. Congrats on the baby!

it means you are doing the right thing to try and bring this baby along, but it will only come when it is ready so it could all be in vain. Have loads of sex because the semen softens the cervix and moves things along, also raspberry tea is you are wanting to try that. castor oil. not neccesarily sign of dialating.
