Usually 20 weeks, but sometimes as early as 16-18 weeks depending on what position the baby is in when they do the ultrasound.

Ultrasound around 18 weeks. I won't call it before then. There are so many hormones before that age that the labia could look like a penis. Most sonographers will call it at 20 weeks with a good look. I stress a good look, the baby may not be in the best position to see it. When you go for your 20 week ultrasound don't ask what the sex of the baby is 400 times, if you mention it, we know. It is VERY annoying if the only thing out of someones mouth is what is the sex, what is the sex. Some places (where I work) we can't tell the mom. Our rads put it in the report to your Dr. Good luck enjoy the ultrasound too!

Some people find out sooner, but usually 20 weeks. That's when I found out that I was having a little boy! It is best to wait until 20 weeks so that the baby is more developed and it would be more accurate.

Most Dr. offices do an ultra sound to find out the sex of the baby at 20 weeks.

A little over 4 months along for my second baby. My first one was really stubborn, and she made us wait until she came out even after 5 ultrasounds to find out she was a girl. I loved the surprise though, but I hated waiting... good luck:)

Between 16 and 20 weeks.. It also depends on if the baby cooperates. Some babies cross their legs, so you can't tell.. BUT with my 1st I found out at 16weeks and with #2 I found out at 17weeks.. Both were quite obvious what they were even that early...lol

GOOD LUCK!! ANd congrats
