Tell them, "I made a mistake and did something irresponsible and it resulted in me getting pregnant, but I know God can bring a lot of good from this because every baby is a blessing. Mom and Dad, I'm asking you to help me make the best decision for this child - adopt or raise it myself?"

Well... if you are a girl (under age 18) your rights depend on what state you live in, and your parents can force you to have an abortion or give it up for adoption. In that case, if I were you, I'd chose my words carefully depending on what you plan to do about it.
If you're a woman, (over age 18) then you can make your own decisions about what's best for you, your body, and your baby.
If this is a baby you're planning to keep, then be happy about it! Your parent will be shocked, that's to be expected, but once the baby is here, they won't be able to imagine anything different. Regardless of how this baby came to be, it is a baby, and you and your parents will love it! Be straight with them. If you're embarrassed, tell them so. If you feel like you're afraid to let them down, then tell them so. Make sure that they understand that you're already disappointed in yourself, and you really don't want to be scolded, but that you are relying on them for support. Throw out there that they are the best parents ever, and that's why you know they will help you decide what's best. Be yourself! Be honest with yourself! Best of luck and "congratulations" to you.

Well I would just come out and tell them. If you're going to have a baby it's not like you can hide it or change that fact. And being that they are your parents they will understand and I'm sure they will also help in what ever way they can. Good luck.

I wrote my mom a letter from her future grandchild, which told her that "I love you already, and I don't even know you yet... I'm only the size of a grape, but I can move and kick, feel my heartbeat and even open my mouth. I hope you'll love me too..."
etc etc etc
It was like 3 pages long though, haha, so it was a lot more detailed than that.
You know..
So yea.
Good luck.

if you can wait to get a pic of the ultrasound....get it and put it in a nice picture frame that says "i love grandma" or something or "grandkids are a blessing", wrap it up, and give it to her right before you walk out the door?

Give her a picture of your ultrasound or a copy of your proof of pregnancy. You don't owe anybody an explanation, you are grown and you make mistakes!!!

i sent my parents a card from a baby, saying:
hiya there, that's me- little monkey... i'll take some time from talking to my toes to tell you that im on my way... i heard so much about you from my mummy, SO CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU TOO.
was easier this way for me.
