I recently have been having sex with one of my friends, a friends with benefits kind of arrangement, but we were always safe, well until one night when we got wasted and weren't protected, and my period is now a month late. I told my friend and he said stressing over it will make it worse, but he did say he'd support me if I do end up having a child. I took a few pregnancy tests already and they all came up positive. What should my next step be?

figure out what you want: do you want an abortion; adoption; or keep the baby.

once that's the decided, the other steps will soon follow.

it's never an easy decision, but do what's right for you; don't be infulenced by others because in the end, you're taking care of that child and that' child is depending on you.

Your next step should be see a doctor ASAP. Get a blood test to see how far along you are and if the egg is developing properly with its hCG levels.

What you want to do with is really a personal decision. Keep it, Adoption...and very last resort, that I don't encourage, but it's up to you..terminate it?

Oh, and thirdly, I know this ironic since I gave you input, but don't ask answers.yahoo because many people will misinform you and don't know your situation in real life. :)

It's a very confusing stage and I'm sure even more so because how your apparent pregnancy came about...but, you need to consider personally, "Only I can make this decision personally regardless of what others say...what will make this outcome worse? Supporting a child? Terminating a potential child? Or putting up for adoption a child?"

It's really tough indeed, and I wish you the best of luck!

Go to the doctor .If he dont want to help you dont let him cause it will not be good for the baby if your so called friend comes in and out of his life . Tell him it took two and if he dont want to be a father to the baby then take him to court for child suport . And find you a better men there are ones that will take care of your child trust me i had a girl and i married someone other than her daddy and he calls her his , cause her daddy dont have anything to do with her and did the same thing when i was pregnant so i know what you are going throught but if you want to talk send me a email at white__proud87

Go see a doctor to confirm it, so you can give the baby a healthy start in life. And also if you are not pregnant it may be some other health issues going on with you. and last but no least more educational information about playing games with friends with benefits. He said he would support you if you are preg. but to many young ladies have believed in false promises in the past.

Make your first appointment to an OB/GYN, then you and your friend need to decide rather or not you both want to keep the baby, give it up for adoption or (God forbid) have an abortion. I strongly suggest you think about adoption (less regret) or raising the baby yourself. The last thing you need to day is relax. The deed is done so to speak.

i would go the drug store and get some prenatal vitamins!
and set up an app. with Your Local OB/GYN Doctor!
And take those vitamins until the doctor can get you some prescription ones! ( or u can stay on the over the counter ones , i always did with my pregnancies and have very healthy babies ) they probably won't want to see you till your 8 weeks , so expect that! But for sure you 1st step would be VITAMINS! Go Now........hehehe!

Good Luck!

Confirm at the doctor's office and they'll set you up with your first prenatal appointment. This usually involved drawing blood and doing a vaginal exam. (or it did for me).

Go to your OB/GYN and tell them EXACTLY what has happend. I know it will be embarassing....but it needs to be done. Then he will give you an exam ect to make sure everything is okay.
