Don't stimulate labor. Just don't. PLEASE.

My wife and I thought it would be fun to stimulate labor in our child, and it was in the safe part of the end of her pregnancy.

He has autism.

Just let it happen, and no matter what happens with your baby in the future, you won't find ways to blame yourself because of things like stimulating labor.

yes, nipple stimulation can stimulate contractions by making your body produce oxytocin (the hormone that causes contractions). Generally though your body has to be already ready for labor to begin with. For some people it will cause contractions, but as soon as you stop, so do the contractions. If your body is not ready it probably won't work. There is no way to know how long it will take or whether it will work. And Please Please do not do it before 39 weeks. Don't take the risk of your baby going to NICU because you were ready to have it. Believe me, it's not worth it.

nipple stimulation is a lot like nursing a baby. Put a warm wash cloth on each breast for a few minutes then take it off and gently start rolling and pulling your nipple. when you breastfeed your uterus contracts and this does the exact same thing the warm cloths just help make your nipples a little softer and a little tingly like if your baby was sucking.

Nipple stimulation causes uterine contractions. I can't say how long it takes as no one can be sure (not even a doctor). The best way to do it is rub your nipples. Good luck!

Fully agree with Lyndsy M above. Just answered to try and underline what she said. I used to be an Obstetric Nurse.
