sciatic nerve pain caused by the uterus and baby putting weight on the main nerve that runs from the back through the pelvis and down the leg.

Every pregnant woman experiences it to some degree. Some more than others.

Chiropractors, and accupuncture and help relieve it. So can pain killers and swimming.

I'd say it's your sciatic nerve. The baby may be pinching it or in a funny position putting pressure on it. Don't strain it. Try to stretch and put heat on it and then cool to help ease the pain. Ask your Dr. if they can help with anything. A good back rub in the area helps too! Best of luck to you and Congratulations!!! :)

It sounds like your sciatic nerve is getting pinched. I'd suggest going to a chiropractor (yes, you can go to one if you are pregnant). They will do adjustments for you and it should help out a lot!
