Pregnancy - September 2007

Can any one tell me the best way to deal with stress and vomitting in pregnancy. I just cant eat or drink anything without vomiting not even water wat can i do about this. I also have a heartburn which just iritates me.

My doctor told me im measuring small and at my next appointment (2 weeks) we'll see what happens, and if its still small go from there...my question is, what do they do if you are measuring small?? just watch u closer or what??

Well I been doin research on the computer on girls who are 13 weeks just like me I seen that there are pretty big comparing to how I am... Some girls say ohhh Im having a girl Im so happy how in the world do they know there having a girl or a boy is there a way to tell or are they just guessing? Cause Im not big I just have a little pouch in the front and I still weight the same?

okay so my due date in Novemeber 25th...

Doc says im going on 32 weeks...

how is that?? That means at 9 months it would be oct 22nd... and yea...im not due till like 4 weeks after that??? Doesnt add to me, can someone explain?

me and my boyfriend kind of..fooled around monday-today with no protection and today i been feeling weird stomach feelings. i can't really explain it. i know it might be early but i been feeling weak. my all time favorite food (froot loops) is gross now and i just get queasy. i get kind of pissy too. i don't know when i ovulate but i just want to know if having these symptoms is pregnancy or something else. here's what i been having so far:

about from 100.2-100-7 temp
nausea
peeing mroe than usual
feeling kind of like stomach cramps
sore muscles. mostly stoamch & back.

So I asked my doctor about inducing due to the fact my husband lost a family member and is planning on leaving here in a couple days to attend the funeral.. I told him about the situation and he said that he cant induce because the baby isnt term yet. Im 39 weeks pregnant. I thought that 37 weeks was actually considered term.... And he said sometimes being induced is alot harder... I just dont understand... I have 3 friends who were due all in september and they were able to get induced due to the fact that they felt uncomfotable.... I just feel like im getting treated unfairly

how accurate are ultrasounds in dating gestational age? can they be off by 5 days? my doc said by up to a week, anybody know from personal experience?

I am 34 weeks pregnant and highly considering having an epidural if needed during labor.

I have an extremely high tolerance to medications. In December of 2006, I had back surgery to remove a herniated disk and none of the narcotic pain meds or tranquilizers worked. I was given so much morphine and demerol, it's not even funny. What really doesn't make sense is that I was 95lbs at the time and 5'4"... you'd think anything would knock me out... but not the case.

Has anyone had an epidural and it not work? If so, what happened afterwards? What other methods did you try?

Alright i had a baby 3 months ago, and after having him i had my tubes tied, i had my first period that only lasted approx 4 days, around Aug. 15th. It was extreamly heavy. ive never had a period like that before and hope to never again. Well i havent had a period since. Could i be pregnant even though i had my tubes tied? or are periods like this after having a baby or tubes tied? I had a c-section by the way!

I know it sounds like a disgusting question, but I want to see if anyone else who is pregnant or was ever pregnant experienced this. For the past two days my stool has been dark with a greenish color to it. I feel okay otherwise, but I did come back positive for beta strep, so I am wondering if this has something to do with it? I tried looking into this on babycenter and other sites, but I do not see any info about it so I am wondering if this is nothing to worry about.

Has anybody else ever have this? I will call the doctor of course to explain what is going on, but I just want to see if anybody else went through this. Any feedback would be great.

my friend and her partner are trying for a baby, she has been off the contraceptive pill for alittle over a month and was due for her period on monday, she is now 3 days over, she has taken a few pregancy tests, the first test showed she wasnt, but all the others, (these tests are very very predictable , such as i think clear blue) said she was, but the line in all the pregnancy tests saying she was, is very pale, and not at all strong, (like mine, my pregnant line was very much dark line.

she is very confused, she has seen a doctor and he took a preg test, and it says she isnt, but he does however think SHE is, just that the pregnancy hormone is very low at the moment? she has to go back in a weeks time? with thoughs tests she took at home, (even though the lines were weak) surely it means she is pregnant? with all four tests coming up with "that" line however faint it is?

OK,
here goes.

I started the pill a month and a half ago, when i took the placebo pills while on my first pack i got no period..i continued with the pills..I've been getting nauseated and headaches and fatique...and yesterday (9/25/07) i woke up and had blood in my panties, put a tampon in, thinking it was a late period and i went to change the tampon and nothing was on the original...it was completely gone by that night... If i got my period based on my last cycle i would have gotten it on the 15th of this month..


what does this all mean?

My due date determined by ultrasound is Nov. 16th which would mean I am 32 weeks. However the nurse just estimated me at 34 weeks based on the tape measure- a tried and true method.
Which should I rely on? Obviously they are both just estimates but I'd like to hear about any one else's experience. Has this happened to you & if so which measurement was the more accurate based on when you delivered?
