I think if you had sex with two different people within 5 days of each other and don't know which one is the daddy, you are going to have a lot of problems.

Typically, the ultrasound is extremely accurate in dating the pregnancy, the most accurate time being between 18-20 weeks.

Good luck

No they can not be used to determine paternity. Especially as close as 5 days. Sperm can live inside of you for up to 5 days, so honestly you will HAVE to get a dna test.

Please take this as a lessoned learned, and let both men know.

I posted a like below to a paternity site. It has a calculator, and will give you the propable time of conception, and you can match the dates from there.

Good Luck.

I believe Ultra Sounds are the best way to tell. I do not believe they are that accurate. I know it is not the same but they were off with my child's weight by a good 2.5 pounds. The date was off as well but within the 1 week perimeter.

im guessing you are trying to figure out who the babys dad is.

even if the ultrasound is right, sperm can live in you for up to 5 days, which means either guy could be the father all you can do it wait till you have the baby and get a dna test

Mine was off by 4 days. I am a very careful "calendar keeper" and I knew the exact day my husband and I conceived and yet the ultrasound showed us conceiving 4 days earlier :)

It all depends on the size of the baby--mine was a little more developed early on and was born a little early too (though she was fully developed and 7.9lbs at birth :) No chance of my dates being off either--there was certainly no other possible father and I knew when we had sex!

Mine was off by 17 days. So by my lmp i should be due November 26th - but the ultrasound said I wasn't that far along and gave the due date of december 14th.

They can be off by up to a week in the first trimester. After the first trimester they are even less reliable as babies grow at different rates.

Ultrasounds are not an exact science...only bloodwork can truly determine paternity. Good luck.
