I took a pregnancy test seven full days before my period was due and i got a very accurate, true positive! The brand of test i used was Answer.
Also you can test 19 days after the day you think you became pregnant.

Some tests can show you a positive result 5 days before your period is due. It really all depends on the hCG levels in your system when you test, and the sensitivity of the test. There is generally more hCG in the first morning's urine, but you can test any time of day.
Should you test early, get a negative, and then miss your period, I'd test again a week later.

you can take one early but its best to wait till you miss your period so its accurate. you may get false negatives by testing too early. Some claim to show as early as 5 days before but I am 13 weeks and I got 2 neg before my postive and the positve I took on the day my period was due.

u can use a test as early as 4 days b4 ure missed period (13 weeks pregnant second pregnancy) USE first responce

Take the day you are late, if you take to early then you get a possibly false result
I waited until I was 5 days late, yup preganat 5 weeks :-)

you can test up to four days prior, but the statistics are pretty low for it being accurate until you are a day late.

I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT AT 3 WEEKS SO I TESTES ABOUT A WEEKK BEFORE MY MISSED PERIOD. GOOD LUCK!!
