If you go to this website (I'm sure there are others) http://ibabydust.com/tools/ovulation_calendar/ then go to click here to begin using the ovulation calendar, then Enter the first day of your last menstrual period and Enter the Number of Days in your Menstrual Cycle then click on create fertility calendar.
A calendar is then created and will tell you when you when you are fertile, when you can take a pregnancy test, blood test, and expected period.

I actually answered a question about this a little earlier. You can not tell directly after sex. The semen will create a semenal pool right near the entrance of your uterus and it take anywhere from a day to about a week for the semen to get to the egg. Another week after this for the egg to attach its self to the uterine wall for the long 9 months. The hormone that the pregnancy test tests for is your hcg levels and this is not given off by the egg until it is fertilized and attached to the uterine wall. This is the hormone that tells your menstral cycle that it wont be exiting. So an estimate would probley be about 3-4 weeks after physical intimacy.
Hope This Helps.

I can only say from experience, since everyone is not always the same. I took an early EPT 4 days before my period was due (it says up to 5), and it was negative. I took another one 3 days after my period was due, and it came out positive. The home pregnancy test is sensitive to the HcG hormone secreted during pregnancy. It usually is detectable a couple of days post implantation, which is why most hpt's do not pick it up right away. It is up to you, if you just can't wait...you take it early. If you are a patient ole owl, lol, wait until your period is due. I hated that advise...and did not follow it either. (wasted money on the first test. lol) Whatever you choose...GOOD LUCK!! :)

With my first and second pregnancy I just couldn't wait. I took a test 5 days before my missed period with both and they both came back positive. The line was very very light, but it was there for sure. I took one of the digital ones with this pregnancy as well 5 days before and it said "pregnant" The line got darker on the others when I tested a few days after the first.

Some tests say five days before your missed period; however they are less accurate that way. Wait until the day of your missed period. Good luck!
