If two extra strength tylenol do not work for you, you need to talk to your doctor because they can prescribe a migraine medicine that is fairly safe to take while pregnant. Also try caffiene and a heating pad on your neck.

i truly feel for you! i had the most horrible migraines a couple of weeks ago, & nothing helped, unfortunately there's not much you can take, & please don't take anything without your dr's approval! My ex-dr told me to suck it up so i did & then changed Drs lol, the only thing that kind of helped was lemon jello! I sure hope this helps! Remember it will be over soon =] forme it lasted about 2 weeks, it was hell! But then it just went away & hasn't come back
God Bless

Tylenol is the only safe thing to take. DO NOT take Advil (Ibuprofen) or Aspirin!! If they persist, you should consider calling your Obstetrician. I'm sorry that tylenol isn't working...I'm going through the same thing, but that's the ONLY acceptable treatment. Sudafed is also safe if you think it's sinus related. Good Luck!

That's a tricky one. Migraines are the worst. What about a little caffeine? Does that help at all? I'd ask your doctor. I know you can't take a lot of the drugs specifically for migraines. -Also, massage of the shoulders/face/neck/jaw might keep them at bay.

You need to talk to your doctor. Most prescription pain killers are generally safe to take during pregnancy. I was given Percocet for my migraines while pregnant, and my OB/GYN also sent me for massages. That really helped.

Try getting some peppermint oil and rubbing it on your temples. There is not really anything you can take, its just the first of a few thousand sacrifices that you will do for your child. Good Luck and I hope you feel better soon.

tylenol and benedryl were the only over the counter drugs that were ok'd by my doctor. if tylenol just isnt doing the trick, you need to consult your physician. theres no need for you to suffer, but you need to be careful!

Tylenol is the only drug doctors reccomend when you are pregnant.
You can double check medications at safefetus.com
If you are having severe migrains, I suggest you drink more water. you should be consuming 2 ounces every 15 minutes.
