Chalk it up to just a weird dream. I wouldn't analyze it or look into it too deeply.

Wild dreams, the new story of my life! I doubt it means anything! Last night I fell asleep with the football game on and somehow I was out there hangin' with the Saints (even though they lost)! A week before that I was training great white sharks in a pool! LOL!! I don't think our dreams have much meaning right now. Maybe some dreams express our fears, but this one sounds like it was just a weird dream. Maybe you really want a girl or another cat!

Recurring dreams are often triggered by life situations or problems that keep coming back. It usually points to a personal weakness, fear, or your inability to cope with something in your life - past or present.
To dream that you are giving birth to a non-human creature, signifies you overwhelming (an unfounded) fear in the health of your baby. You are overly concerned that your baby may have birth defects. This type of dream is common in expectant mothers in their second trimester

I never dreamed (or at least didn't remember it) before I got pregnant. Now, every night I have the most detailed, vivid, and usually very weird dreams. I think it's a pregnancy thing.

I tend to see things in dreams all the time. But I sure dont see anything but hormones in this one.
Except maybe that your cat has an inappropriate place in your heart and mind.

I've had similar dreams only with my dog! Max was my "child" before getting pregnant.
Dreaming about your "cat" as your baby is reflecting your feelings of motherhood. You think of your pet as you will your newborn child.

OK, birth...birth...birth, ah here we go, birth:
"It is a good sign when a married woman dreams of giving birth, but for a single woman it foretells trouble in her near future."
The cat thing must just be because of your cat, maybe something's going to happen to it.
Hope i helped
