I just found out I am preggers and I have read, and noticed, that your digestive systems slows waaayy down during pregnancy. This can cause constipation. Also, with everything going so slow, this allows gas build up. soo... FIBER FIBER FIBER!!! I read that pregnant woman need around 25-35 grams a day. I also found to add fiber slowly, which makes since.

GOOD LUCK!!!

In pregnancy there is alot of gassy problems, i know i am now im my 9th month and awaiting the arrival of my little girl. There isnt really anything you can do about it because any medication that you might take for it could be harmful to the baby due to the fact that what you take your baby also gets. Talk to you doctor, i know its embarresing, but they may be able to give you some helpful tips.
Good luck.

Oh goodness yes, you wouldn't believe the horrible gas I had, actually with my second the gas it what actually made me think I was pregnant again. I started getting bad gas pains and it made me realize I was pregnant. And the bad part is it doesn't get any better until the baby is born.

Eat small meals every 3 hours. Nothing too fatty or fried! Don't drink caffinated products. Salty foods and carbination are supposed to help.

My doctor said to lay off the dairy products. Nothing helps. 10 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. I didn't have bloating and gas like this with my first!

I had to figure out what i was eating that was making me this way.

Turns out I'm all of a sudden allergic to my peanut butter sandwhiches I have for lunch.

It's bad man, I can kill people with how bad it smells.

I quite the PB and now it's not terrible any more.

A pharmacist told me Gas-X is okay, but you ought to check with your practitioner on that one. As for me, I chose instead to get revenge against my gassy husband :)
