I just started a business as a Parent Coach. What should a Parenting Coach offer to parents to make the relationship a success?

Sometimes I just look at and hold my kids and I wish I could just freeze that moment. Sometimes I feel near crying because of the love I have for them. Does anybody else feel this for your children?

I'm currently giving my 12 month old daughter homogenized milk but am thinking about switching her to partly skimmed 2% because that's what the rest of the family drinks. Is that a bad idea?

I am a single mother that works full time & goes to school part time. I raise my 5 yr old by myself with no help from his father. My 5 yr old has been in daycare homes & daycare since he was 6 months old & he is a bit passive. How can I get him to be less passive & more agressive as a boy? When there is a conflict between other kids he is the middle man to resolve their issues & make everyone friends again, but he also lets other kids push him around. He often says he doesn't want to go to daycare because some of the kids push & hit him. I am worried about him for when he starts kinder this fall. I dont want him to dislike school for this reason. @ first i would tell him to tell the teacher but then I sd hit them back. I used to be a tomboy when i was little, always playing w/the boys but I am a woman now & i try to play with him "rough" but he just doesnt. I play with his as his mother. With no POSITIVE male role model how should I treat this situation?

I am a single mum of two kids aged 1 and 2, i currently work casually for between 2 and 20 hours a week. I also study from home during the night and some weekends. I miss my kids so much while im at work and the money barely covers child care. should i just give up my job and spend time with my kids? My daughter is so intelligent i want her to go to the best school and i want both my children to have the chance to do scouts swimming danicing karate and sports and music classes if they choose. without a job this may not be possible? Do they need these opportunities or should i stay at home with them and give them my time? it will be a financial struggle tho and that would cause me to stress? im lost!

We have tried cutting holes in them, throwing them away (which he always seems to come up with a replacement - i know my fault) and nothing seems to work. I can't even imagine putting him to bed with out it. Please help!

Who should be looking out for your child while he or she is online in chatrooms or social sites? This website http://www.onlinechildsafety.net claims that ultimately the parents are responsible. Is this where the responsibility stops?

My 6 yr old daughter is a great kid; however, she tends to act as if she is the boss of her peers and sometimes she gives my husband and I attitude? I talk to her firmly and place her in time out and after speak to her so she can understand what she did wrong? But sometimes I feel as if it isn't working. How can I raise my daughter to be a friendly, gentle, loving person? Please Help!!!! :(

I'm going to be taking Drivers Ed through school in August-December. However, they will not let me get my license until I "prove to them that I am responsible and mature enough". I need some ideas of how to do this. I've been doing more around the house such as helping with dinner, doing some yard work, doing some laundry, etc. I need a big idea.

Thanks so much in advance.

Seriously. Last night my husband and our kids were at a park walking through the trails and we must have lost track of time because when we went to leave the gates were all padlocked...lol. OMG How embarrissing! So we ended up going turfing across the lawn through the little post things (I was freaking out that we were going to hit one!) but we made it! Just a little red in the face! lol! I want stories!!!! lol

And I put this in parenting because I figured I would get the best stories from parents! lol

I have 4 small children. I want to take showers everyday, but I cant find time and I dont know what to do with my children when I'm in the shower. I cant just let them run around the house. They will hurt themselfs or run outside. Or they might get into something. What do you do, if you dont have anyone to watch them while you take a shower?

Hubby and I are going to a wedding at UC Davis on the 1st. They are limited to only 100 people so, our 2 1/2 year old son, Jason will not be able to go. So we have to leave him with his Grandma ( Nonni) and Grandpa Bing. He has never been away from us and is afraid of his grandparents. ( They both had cancer last year and were really sick. And I think that Jason picked up on it and now he is afraid of them) My sister is coming up to help, but he is shy around her too. He only wants to be around us and play with us. How can I help him feel OK about this? I trust my parents and sister ( I don't trust or would leave him alone with my in-laws) but he is so attached to us that when we even take him to the park he would rather play with us than other kids.
Any ideas or should I just skip the wedding and stay at my parents house with him?

Oh, by the way hubby & I haven't been alone with each other since before he was born. Not sure what we will do with out him.

If you are about 5 pounds underweight when you get pregnant, do you have a harder time losing your baby weight?

Did your starting weight when you got pregnant affect how hard it was to lose weight after you had your baby?

My 5yo daughter recently changed preschools due to my new job. She was at her previous preschool from 6 weeks of age until 1 month ago. She has been at her current preschool for 1 month. Every day she starts crying when she sees the turn to the preschool and cries, saying "I want to go home and stay home with you". This was NOT her normal behavior at her old one--she'd blow a kiss and off she ran to play. We sat her down and asked why doesn't like it--she says the kids don't play with her (the school age kids), she says the 4 YO's play with her and she has been in the 4 YO room before when I've picked her up. It seems they don't have a lot of 5 YO that haven't been in kindergarten yet--most of the kids in the 5 YO room are actually 6 or 7 YO. The director says on the field trips they take she has fun and plays with the other kids. The crying thing is SO unlike my child, I'm worried. She's not a manipulative child at all. HELP! My 'mommy sense' is going on overload!
