3 months is the age where most places will start piercing a childs ear. I talked too my daughter's doctor when a family member asked if she could take my daughter to get her ears pierced. The doctor told me to wait until my daughter was 3 months old and to take her to Clair's. At Clair's we were told that they wouldn't pierce a child's ear under the age of 3 months.

As long as she is current on her immunizations there is no reason why you shouldn't get her ears pierced. I had my daughter's ears pierced when she was 5 1/2 months old and she's never had a problem. Just make sure you keep them clean to prevent infection.

She's never too young. It's great that your husband is worried about his little girl, but he's worrying too much. It's extremely common for baby girls to get their ears pierced at a very young age and there's nothing wrong with it.

I know people who pierced their daughter's ears younger than that, so I think it's OK. But I couldn't do it! My daughter started asking when she was four, and I told her to wait till she turned five ~ kind of hoping she would forget. But sure enough, on her 5th birthday she said "OK! Let's go get my ears pierced!" I was fine ~ my daughter didn't even flinch. My husband.... not so fine! He just doesn't want his baby girl to grow up.

Ive known people who have had their baby's ears pierced after being only a few days old. I had my daughter's pierced when she was 3 months old, but I ended up taking them out and leaving them out after only a couple weeks cuz the earrings kept coming out and I was afraid she'd find one and swallow it.

I JUST PIERCED MY DAUGHTERS EARS THIS PAST WEEKEND, SHE'S 7 MONTHS OLD, THE WOMAN THAT PIERCED HER EARS ASKED ME WHY I WAITED SO LONG, SHE SAID I SHOULD'VE TAKEN HER RIGHT WHEN SHE TURN 3 MONTHS OLD. SHE SAID 3 MONTHS IS WHEN YOU SHOULD GET THEM PIERCED BECAUSE IT WONT HURT HAS MUCH. SHE SAID OLDER BABIES NOTICE THERE EARS MORE AND FEEL MORE PAIN. MY DAUGHTER DID CRY BUT SHE DID DO PRETTY GOOD, NOW SHE HAS THE CUTEST WHITE GOLD DAISY EARRINGS ON. WAIT TILL SHE'S 3 MONTHS AND GO TAKE HER TO GET THEM. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOU LIL GIRL.

The younger the better. You can get them done now if you want. It's actually better to get them done while they are babies because they wont mess with their earing, the are easier to care for, and they have earings with safety backs so you don't have to worry about them coming loose and your daughter choking. My oldest daughter was 6 months when we had hers done. My youngest is 1 and we still havent taken her but I plan on getting them peirced within the next few weeks.

it is never too young to get a little girls ear pierced but if i was you i would make sure she has stopped teething first cause when teething baby's will grab and pull at their ears and there is a chance of them doing damage to their little ears
