I live in a small area and the closest moms group is 50 miles away. I asked my pastor if he knew of any in this area and he said no, but then suggested starting one through our church. I really would like to, but how do I go about it? What kind of activities, how often, and what time of week? It will be through my church, no drinking even on mom's outtings. I want to do something that get's moms and kids involved, but also gives each mom and child time apart. For instance, part of the meeting be activities with mom's and children, the other part have the kids go to the nursery with a nursery worker and the moms talk and have a Bible study. Any positive input would be greatly appreciated. Just tell me what your mom's group does, or what you'd like to do if you were in a mom's group. I'd also like to plan a once a month mom's night out.

On thursday i lost my little baby..12 weeks i started to bleed and i had scan and baby was ok, very active. The bleeding started to stop & at 14 weeks i had another bleed, this time with big clots.. Went to hospital, kept me in and scan nxt day, Here they found a Subcronic Haematoma which is a blood clot. It was behind the placenta and they said it would cause a miscarriage if it gets bigger. I was scared. since then, i've been bleeding on and off and baby seems to be fine untill thrusday morning at 5 when i got these absolute pains and they were so bad that i couldn't walk, i went to A&E and i was on the bed and a massive clot come out, i was scared and begged the nurse not to leave me.. 2 minutes after that, the pain got even worse, i knew this time it wasn't a clot,,, it was the baby, the most sad & heart-breaking thing was that it give a little cry when it come out and i just broke in two. I need 2 know what the chances are of this happenin again and when its ok to try again....

Okay, I am getting all that rainforest fisher price stuff. Well, they have a swing for a little over a $100 and a bouncer seat for $50. I was gonna get both, but money is a little tight right now, and I don't know which one I should get. I read that most people choose one or the other, but I don't know. Do I need both or only one??

When he was 5 months he would eat baby food from a spoon but not any more his father started putting his food in a bottle and that is the only way we can get him to eat. He won't even touch solid food. He spits it right out. I tried putting some dried cereal and pieces of fruit and veggies in front of him so that he can self feed put he throws it to the floor. I tried putting it in his mouth so that he can taste it and maybe realize that it tastes good but he closes his mouth and turns his face. Now every time I go close to his face with a spoon or any food he closes his mouth and turns his face. I've been giving him puree foods in his bottle like sweet potatoes and bananas and peas etc, etc. but I feel like if I continue to do this he will never learn to eat. His doctor suguested that I take away the bottle and wait till he is hungry and then try to feed him but it hasn't been working he would just fall asleep hungry. Please someone help me!

I just want your opinions. I know for a fact I don't believe in it. If you are stupid enough to get unwanted pregnancy in the first place, you should deal with the consequences, i say!

If someone becomes pregnant and they don't want the baby, give it away when it's born. That's still horrible but it's better than the baby not being born at all.

What do you think?

It can be quite depressing and just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? I wouldn't trade being a stay at home mom for anything but being tight on money stinks, especially around xmas. Hubby and I aren't getting each other anything. Just a few things for our son. My husband is a teacher so living on one teacher's salary is tough.

My co worker told me her cousin spent that amount of money on a birthday party. The lil girl had ponies, those jumper things, clowns....All kinds of stuff. Do you all feel that's a little too much for a child that young, or does it matter? Will a child even remember any of that? The earliest birthday I remember was at 5 or 6, and it sure wasn't even close to 3000 dollars! Thoughts?

Why do sOme Abortion protesters and sOme pro life Extremists, seem to miss the big picture.What I mean is that after the baby is born they don't seem to care what happens to them after they are Born, suffering and in foster Care.

MAKES ZERO SENSE.

I work in Social Service, and have never seen a pro life protester adopt or protest to promote to adopt an Orphan baby that really needs care and love .

Why are they only picketing outside a clinic and harassing people ....what a waste of their energy.Why not do something more productive like help the children that are already here on this Earth....What is the real reason for abortion protesters to protest and picket, when they can be way more productive and protest to save babies that are already here.....Or for that matter Innocent Endangered animals that are on the brink of Extinction.MAKES NO SENSE TO ME!

Is it true that Pro life Extremist and abortion protesters are in it for an extra brownie point from God when the meet their maker

This will be my daughter's first christmas, and I'd like to make christmas about family instead of presents. I don't want her to be looking forward to christmas because of all the "stuff" she gets. I had my first Post Partum Period in August, when my DD was 6 months old. I went to the gyno and started the mini-pill in September. I had 4 periods after that, and they were 2 weeks apart and weird bleeding, sort of light. Now it's been a little over 4 weeks since I've had one and I'm psyching myself out about it. It would be an absolute act of God if I were pregnant - because I'm breastfeeding, take the mini-pill almost perfectly (have maybe been a couple hours late 3 times) and my boyfriend and I use a condom EVERY time. I can't be pregnant. I also took a HPT 2 days ago and it was negative, but I'm almost 2 weeks late. Is it true that you can have a post partum period and then not have one for a few months? I've heard that somewhere. Or that it could just take a while for it to regulate? Thanks in advance for any advice or comfort you can offer on the matter!! ha ha

I have had issue while being pregnant and want to know if their is anything I can do, or if it is normal here are the questions. When you preganant are you more likely or less likely to have yeast infections? I herd that when your pregnant you should not get them as much. I still get them often.. Also is it normal to have vaginal discharge/ wetness white/clumpy/ and clear off and on for no cause? can this discharge be different at times? Is vaginal soreness during intercoure normal? And the last one is one time I was dozzing off while performing oral sex on my husband and I am ashamed I had no control of my body being exhausted and fatigued, I am currently experiencing depression, I had been only getting 2-3 hrs of rest a night and having back pains of and on for three days it seemed like my body was shutting down, We had sex just before I started to perform oral sex, could me not getting enough rest and being overly exhausted cause sleep to start to overtake me, or should I seek help on this situation
